“We went here during our travels. We were skeptical by the location but the food is fresh and the employees are super friendly and welcoming. I loved theirs subs. Initially we just took 1 6inch sub but after tasting it we bought another 6inch sub because it was very fresh.“

“FINALLY! Our whole order with no mistakes! Out of the 20 or so times we've gone to Golden Chick, I'd say in10 of the 20 there'd be something missing & we'd have to hang on to the receipt & feel embarrassed to ask for the missing item next time. We live too far away to just drive back. Sometimes we've stayed put in the drive-thru until everything we ordered was in the bag. When Ms. Copeland is there, we know the order is always right but if she's not there...well, they'd forget the gravy, the salad dressing, the extra roll we ordered or we'd get only 3 pieces on a 4 piece tender order. The food is always tasty & we really like the fried fish, & chicken salad sandwiches too. The reason for the 4 stars is because the phone is often off the hook so we can't call in an order ahead of time. The website says order online but that's not working. When the phone does ring, they might answer it after the 20th ring but that usually when it all the young 'uns are working. Best thing is the delicious chicken & fish.“

“As a truck driver, I eat in a lot of restaurants, and I have never really been a big fan of Hardee’s or Carl’s Jr. But yesterday I stopped at the Carl’s Jr. in Italy, Texas at the loves truckstop, and I was absolutely amazed. The service and everything was great but the jalapeño double burger that I got was the absolute best burger I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect the lettuce, the tomatoes. None of it could’ve been any better if I would’ve made it myself. They put a decent amount of sauce on there which unlike McDonald’s who likes to give you a quarter size squirt of Mac sauce on their big Mac, and then charge you a dollar to have a decent amount put on, this was a welcomed change. Their burger was as good as any In-N-Out Burger that I’ve ever had and I absolutely love those. I definitely will be eating their burgers when I come through there. Kudos for these folks who made a sandwich that people would actually like to eat.“

“The mgr waited on my family and I! She was great. She had really impeccable customer service and she was very kid friendly. My children just adored her! I will definitely go back, and I suggest everyone pays a visit. If your visit is half as good as mine wise, you’ll be happy.!!! Thank U Mercedes for your great customer service! “The restaurant was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Our food was fresh but I like my cheese melted on my burger. It was put on my sandwich right before it was given to me. Upon departing the restaurant, there was a slight sewage odor near the restrooms. I could not smell it anywhere else though. Short walk from the truck stop across the street.“
