New favorite Mexican?! Swung by for lunch yesterday and I am already dreaming of coming back. The wait staff were friendly & attentive, cups did not stay empty for long. I ordered the El Jimador Rita and my mom the Ultimate Rico's, both were really tasty and satisfying. Coming here, you MUST order the Stuffed Avocado, it stole the entire show for this meal. I've never seen one served quite like this, but it's absolute perfection. The Ranchero sauce as a marinara like feel to it that is absolutely to die for. The breading is lovely, all of the flavors and textures just worked so well together my mouth is watering as I type. The Beef Fajita tacos were tender and I really enjoyed that the meat was chopped, i definitely prefer that over thick strips. The Charro Beans were cooked well and had some of the best flavor I've had in a while. Tortilla soup tasted like it came straight out of grandmas kitchen! A cozy and simple dish, you really can't go wrong.

We had a family gathering here recently and everyone agreed that Chalupas food was the most excellent in Houston!! Such great flavors & freshness that we plan to make this restaurant our go-to spot! Not one dish was boring or plain, but exceptional in taste! Our server was great, courteous & helpful! The inside is nicely decorated and much larger than its outside appearance. This is the best kept secret treasure in Houston!

This is a new Mexican food restaurant on Mason Road near Franz Road. I have gone 3 times and each meal I have ordered has been excellent. They will customized to suit your taste by adding onions, sour cream, extra Mexican sauce, jalapeños etc. to their menu selections. Speaking of the menu, it is vast with every TexMex favorite plus quail and fresh seafood with so many combinations you will want to return to try something else. The interior is colorful and cheery with many TVs that would rival a sports bar. The wait staff is wonderful and friendly. I would encourage you to try it out for a great meal.

Came in one day to do some school work while I ate a hot meal. The food was on point . Everything was delicious. The servers very very attentive. The place looked nice too and more importantly, good atmosphere. They have multiple tvs in case you want to see any sporting event . The prices are reasonable given the quality of the food .

Walk in to go order. People were nice and got my food fast. However, the food was not good. I got enchiladas and two beef tacos. The beef in the tacos and enchiladas was extremely salty and just didn't taste good at all. Beans and rice were the best part of the meal.

This place is excellent. Clean and attentive service with tons of televisions for sports and an amazingly large bar with great drinks. Food is super varied with everything from brisket street tacos, chimichangas, and enchiladas (with an excellent mole) to more American based foods like tilapia, salmon, ribs, steaks, shrimp and more. The menu is huge. Also, don’t miss out on the churros as they are the best I have had. Bring the family or workers as this place is great for both. Another side note I noticed and a reason I eat here twice a week and have for months is that the owner is on site daily so it shows he is passionate about making everything right.Vegetarian options: Mexican restaurants aren’t typically known for vegetarian options. Being a vegetarian and even vegan for months on end in my life I wouldn’t typically come to a Mexican restaurant. But they have a few salads, spinach enchiladas and bean tostadas.Parking: Tons of parking with close proximity to entrance.Kid-friendliness: Very open restaurant with booths and table options. Great kids menu.
