Sumptuous meal today with family and friends - char kway thiau (wok hei / smoked), nasi lemak, roti canai with chicken curry, authentic Beef Rendang, Teh Tarik and Cendol. Bonus was Chef Franco’s rendering of “it’s now or never” while guests devoured the food.
This place was great. I went with a group we all shared our plates. My favorite was the roti!
I grew up in SouthEast Asia and it is very difficult to find an authentic SE Asian food in the US. That is why I was so happy to find out that Uncle Chin's Kitchen offers authentic Malaysian/Singaporean food.
All the food we tried were super delish. We (my husband and I) tried the satay, which, hands down the best satay I have tasted in many years since I live in the US. The peanut sauce is so tasty, you can't get enough of it.
