“First time there. Seems like a super cool place to play pool. Came on a Thursday night. Must have been a league night, because all the seven foot tables were taken. They have 3, 9 footer Diamonds and an eight footer Brunswick. The Diamond I played on was the absolutely slowest Diamond I have ever played on. For 10 bucks an hour, it should be better. Hopefully, they will take care of that. I like the place, and would recommend it! Crowd seemed great.“

The steak was SO tender, mashed potatoes and green beans were perfect! And the Creamy Roasted Poblano soup was amazing! My husband said his Ceasar salad was the best he has ever had. We were so full, we could not hold any dessert. But, they brought a small bowl of ice cream with fresh berries and wrote around the plate "Happy Birthday" in chocolate and brought us 3 spoons. I love that the staff are all very professionally dressed (there is definitely a specific attire aesthetic which I think is achieved tastefully). Moxies has a pretty large space and turn tables quickly even when busy, which is often. I've walked in and been told the wait is 30 minutes and get seated a lot sooner. Worth the wait either way. Their menu isn't too robust which is nice because you end up finding your favorites. Two things that I love and crave often - the sushi cones and the seared ahi ginger salad. Both are a textural experience full of punchy and delicious Asian flavors. Just yum!“

“Mark was a wonderful bartender. He was our first bartender there and he was fantastic. However, we went a third time (3/22/24) and there was a woman. I unfortunately did not get her name. She served me and told me that I was being too loud. I apologized saying that I am from a loud family. I’m sensitive and cried out of embarrassment. Whenever my friend arrived and asked me how I was. I’m told them that I was told I was too loud. The bartender then came back and accused me too of acting like I was 12 and Making her a villain. I assured her that I never spoke a bad word about her just repeated that she told me I was too loud. I was embarrassed. I didn’t feel welcome and we attempted to pay but she said to not worry about the drink.I don’t understand what happened or why she was mad that I told my friend what she told me . I no longer feel welcome at my favorite whiskey bar. My fiends tried talking to her to understand the friction and called her out on her rudeness simply by asking her why she was taking digs at me. They didn’t appreciate the situation.She didn’t have to keep insulting me/putting me down. I just needed a moment to process my embarrassment I already apologized for.“
“Good upscale pizza spot, even if it is a bit chaotic. Once you finally find parking in this patch of Southlake retail and walk up, the fair-sized covered patio can be pretty inviting. However, if you brave the indoor area, you'll feel like you've stumbled into a college town pizza pub for the middle-aged. The wooden interior and high ceilings combine for a noisy environment once it starts getting busy. After being seated, we watched servers and food runners scurry around from table to table, trying to keep up while simultaneously missing an opportunity to greet us and get drinks started (took a good 5 minutes to reveal who was working our table).But honestly, these are minor gripes in the big picture here. Once they arrived, our server was friendly and quick on the drinks when they weren't rushing between tables. We opted for the family dinner, which is both a good deal and a lot of leftovers if you have 4 people or less. We added a meatball appetizer, and the seasoned meat and marinara went great with the perfectly toasted bread. The pretzel that came with the dinner package was okay, but honestly felt more like a giant, twisted breadstick (the queso that we paid extra for didn't do it any favors, either). The farm style salad was actually really delicious, probably helped by coating the whole bowl with ranch. This is also the point of the dinner when we realized that we needed to hurry up and finish our first course(s), as table real estate was VERY limited for us, and a big pizza was soon to be en route. The Classic Rossa came out piping hot, but still soft enough that toppings were hanging on for dear life as I scarfed each delicious slice. If you're an older pizza fan, or just a family that's had enough CiCi's for a while, you'll like the step up in class this pizza place provides.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza and salads“

My son ordered the wonton soup, and it was so perfectly earthy that we actually got another set of bowls so we could share each other’s dishes. My fiancé ordered the classic Tom Yum, and “yum” perfectly described it.I still can’t believe how good the food was!The service was great as well, very intimate, and we were checked on often. A few of the servers were on their phones at the front of the house, which is always a negative, but our server wasn’t, so I’m not holding it against her.They also gave us Thai Tea on the house, which was delightful! “We had a few good experiences at the Bottlecap Alley location in Grapevine, so we decided to give this one a try as well. The service at the bar was very nice and they are very accomodating when it comes to modification requests. Lots of places will forego a bun or give you some sort of "lettuce wrap", but they've got it down to an art where your sandwich or taco is actually enjoyable. The place is new, clean, nice, and fun. We will be back probably to both. Chili Cheese tots or cajun fries are my favorites so far. The bar tender suggested the cajun fries and suggested ranch because they have a kick that builds... take her suggestion, have the ranch handy!“

The bartenders were friendly and made beer recommendations and offered samples to try. I opted to start with a flight and then stuck with their Dunkel. “Went on a Monday night so it was pretty quiet and chill there. One thing to understand is that is the is a private club…anyone can join for $5 but you will have to pay that once a year if you want to frequent it. However, one membership can bring in two guests each visit, so like if you have a spouse or significant other then only one of you technically needs to sign up but for $5 and the ability to bring some friends, it’s probably worth not dealing with any hassle and having both just pay the fee. Theresa was our bartender and she was super sweet, so tip her well if she’s there serving! There’s a nice “backyard” area to chill and drink in, sometimes they start a fire and I imagine that’s fun, haven’t been there for that yet. In the best of ways, I would classify this as a “dive bar”…having lived in WI for a good number of years this one falls right into that category but that doesn’t imply like bad or terrible. I’m Wisconsin most of the time that’s actually exactly what people want, so it’s a positive term I promise! Going to a nice fancy bar is fun and all but that also means the drinks are going to be expensive and the environment a bit uptight. This place has all the right “dive bar” vibes….super chill, no judgements, fair pricing, and that good old backyard hangout feel. The DOO seemed to have a great handle on the place, but I will say this. Lead from the pull, not from the push. If you see something that needs to be done, don't call out the bartender. Do it yourself and then make it a teachable moment. I was impressed that the DOO was well aware of what was going on and took time to talk to us. Brussel sprouts appetizer was great and my black and blue burger was fantastic! The added jalapeños were just the right heat! Onion rings were amazing! The vegan blackbean burger was a little disappointing. It didn't have a lot of flavor and just fell apart, needed more binder to keep things together.
