If you're lookin' for the next best place to get some Honky Tonk along the Stockyards is Rhinestone Saloon. This place is pretty great- there's a large stage up front. Plenty of room to do some boot scootin'. They've even got people who all do the line dance when the proper song comes blastin' over the jukebox. The band was dirt road music, which went well with Lone Star Beer and a bit o' bourbon. They have a nice porch that overlooks the stockyard that makes for a great place to get a nightcap. In the back, there was food served up with a foodtruck that was doing swift business for all the hungry country and western fans. Yeeeeehaw! I love that the staff are all very professionally dressed (there is definitely a specific attire aesthetic which I think is achieved tastefully). Moxies has a pretty large space and turn tables quickly even when busy, which is often. I've walked in and been told the wait is 30 minutes and get seated a lot sooner. Worth the wait either way. Their menu isn't too robust which is nice because you end up finding your favorites. Two things that I love and crave often - the sushi cones and the seared ahi ginger salad. “Mark was a wonderful bartender. He was our first bartender there and he was fantastic. However, we went a third time (3/22/24) and there was a woman. I unfortunately did not get her name. She served me and told me that I was being too loud. I apologized saying that I am from a loud family. I’m sensitive and cried out of embarrassment. Whenever my friend arrived and asked me how I was. I’m told them that I was told I was too loud. The bartender then came back and accused me too of acting like I was 12 and Making her a villain. I assured her that I never spoke a bad word about her just repeated that she told me I was too loud. I was embarrassed. I didn’t feel welcome and we attempted to pay but she said to not worry about the drink.I don’t understand what happened or why she was mad that I told my friend what she told me . I no longer feel welcome at my favorite whiskey bar. My fiends tried talking to her to understand the friction and called her out on her rudeness simply by asking her why she was taking digs at me. They didn’t appreciate the situation. She didn’t have to keep insulting me/putting me down. I just needed a moment to process my embarrassment I already apologized for.“

“Good upscale pizza spot, even if it is a bit chaotic. Once you finally find parking in this patch of Southlake retail and walk up, the fair-sized covered patio can be pretty inviting. However, if you brave the indoor area, you'll feel like you've stumbled into a college town pizza pub for the middle-aged. The wooden interior and high ceilings combine for a noisy environment once it starts getting busy. After being seated, we watched servers and food runners scurry around from table to table, trying to keep up while simultaneously missing an opportunity to greet us and get drinks started (took a good 5 minutes to reveal who was working our table). But honestly, these are minor gripes in the big picture here. Once they arrived, our server was friendly and quick on the drinks when they weren't rushing between tables. We opted for the family dinner, which is both a good deal and a lot of leftovers if you have 4 people or less. We added a meatball appetizer, and the seasoned meat and marinara went great with the perfectly toasted bread. The pretzel that came with the dinner package was okay, but honestly felt more like a giant, twisted breadstick (the queso that we paid extra for didn't do it any favors, either). The farm style salad was actually really delicious, probably helped by coating the whole bowl with ranch. This is also the point of the dinner when we realized that we needed to hurry up and finish our first course(s), as table real estate was VERY limited for us, and a big pizza was soon to be en route. The Classic Rossa came out piping hot, but still soft enough that toppings were hanging on for dear life as I scarfed each delicious slice. If you're an older pizza fan, or just a family that's had enough CiCi's for a while, you'll like the step up in class this pizza place provides.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza and salads“

They served it with saltines, but I asked for tostadas and they gave them to me no problem. It was really really good. Then the mixed fajitas came out piping hot with some homemade tortillas. The homemade salsa was amazing also with the chips. Will definitely be coming back trying more thing and especially once they start late night hours and live bands.“

“Nice Irish-ish pub in downtown Fort Worth. Only found 2 Irish drinks, Guinness and Smithwickes. I was horrified to see a Guinness being poured like a normal beer, no angle on the glass, no wait time and they kept scraping off the head. I was horrified so much I had to leave as it was like scraping my soul and culture out of the top of the glass. If they learned to pour a Guinness then it would have been a very nice experience, instead it's a horror story I'll be telling my family about. But....if you can believe it, it got worse. We ordered a Belgian Duvel and after pouring they scooped out the foam with a spoon. My Belgian colleague was in tears. Great pub, great staff, just need the little bit of training on how to pour a non-american beer or stout.“

“They have a really thin crust pizza. Good size and value for the price. Fried cheese sticks were decent with a good cheese pull on the mozzarella. Pizza by the slice available. Bar is next door to the pizza section. Besides pizza, looks like a nice selection of Italian pasta, entrées, subs, and desserts to choose from. When busy, parking can be tough.“

“I love the variety of drinks offerings and the variety of sizes available to purchase. I find myself visiting this place more in the summer as right now now it's just too cold for frozen drinks.Adult hot, chocolate, eggnog, or hot totties are recommended for this cold weather“

“We hosted our rehearsal dinner for our wedding at the Back Room and had a great time. Samantha was very helpful in setting everything up and working with us to make sure we and our guests were well taken care of. They even helped us get pizzas that worked for our guests' dietary needs. We had a party of 28 and it was plenty of space for us without feeling crowded, but we were all able to be in the same space together and celebrate. If you're looking for a place to host a get together or dinner/celebration, this is one I recommend!“

“Very cool place to grab a bite or have a beer! We had the Big Dipper and the Paco Bowl. Both were very good. The Paco Bowl was one of the best rice bowls I've had. The service was great too! The place is decorated with many plates, and each has the name of someone that is part of the UFO Club... they've had over 200 beer Tastings! Would definitely return!“

“This is the best bar! The mini bowling is so fun and there are so many other games like Mario Cart for up to four people, darts, and basketball connect four. It's a smaller place so it's great for reserving the whole place for parties.“
