Food was good. Better than expected actually. But completely lacking in atmosphere considering the incredible views they have. This place could be so much more like a fine dining establishment instead of a diner. Truly a wasted opportunity.
We had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and read mixed reviews on it. We visited for the first time on a Friday late afternoon and made a reservation for 5:00 pm. for a special occasion. You enter the Comanche Trace Subdivision which has a very nice entrance you can't miss on Hwy. 173 just outside of Kerrville. Went just prior to sunset and enjoyed the views as the sun went down. The food was great! The menu offers a variety of options. The staff was friendly, courteous, and polite. Be sure to call for a reservation as seating is a little limited.
