Went just prior to sunset and enjoyed the views as the sun went down. The food was great! The menu offers a variety of options. The staff was friendly, courteous, and polite. Be sure to call for a reservation as seating is a little limited.

Spectacular view of golf course. We saw deer, rabbits, and birds grazing while dining for the evening. The Brussel sprout appetizer is so yummy!

Food was good. Better than expected actually. But completely lacking in atmosphere considering the incredible views they have. This place could be so much more like a fine dining establishment instead of a diner. Truly a wasted opportunity.

We had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and read mixed reviews on it. We visited for the first time on a Friday late afternoon and made a reservation for 5:00 pm. for a special occasion. You enter the Comanche Trace Subdivision which has a very nice entrance you can't miss on Hwy. 173 just outside of Kerrville. The road winds around with a left turn on Pinnacle and wind around and up a narrow road to the top of the hill. There was plenty of parking as well as a drop off zone in front of the restaurant and sports shop. The 360 view is awesome as you walk around the area. There was no one at the host stand so waited at the doorway of the dining room and shortly someone came to seat us with our reservation. The dining room is not very large but has huge windows on one side for a view from all tables. There were three tables being occupied when we arrived. The table/chair seating is four person but there was one large seating for a group that came in later as we were leaving. It is a good idea to be assured a table that you reserve online or call. We were acknowledged quickly by our waitress and given a drink menu as well as a dinner menu. There is a full bar in the dining area and there is also a covered outside patio with metal table seating. Being higher up there is a slight breeze but still too hot here to enjoy outside dining. A table note gave information on the special for the night with a complete description as well as pricing for that item. We choice menu items of Spring Chicken which came with two sides of choice (asparagus & loaded baked potato) $28 and this was a generous serving of baked chicken, the asparagus was prepared perfectly and the baked potato came with cheese, butter and sour cream and was also cooked right. The other ordered was the 2 - Shrimp Kabob which also came with choice of two sides (side salad, loaded baked potato) $18 and again nice amount with skewer holding four nice size seasoned grilled shrimp, the side salad was mixed greens with cherry tomatoes and sliced cucumbers. They have a wide wine selection by the glass ($10 and up) or a bottle $30 and up). We ordered a Sauvignon Blanc and it was just right with the meal and a nice pour. I believe the lunch menu here is different from dinner so we plan on trying it for lunch on another visit. ALL of the staff were friendly, attentive and professional. It turned out to be the perfect place to celebrate.

I think this really depends on what experience you want.Stunning views. Hometown service. Chef came out to check on the pork chop which was great because it was easily the best thing we ordered.Food was middle of the road. Surprised by that. I wanted it to be better.- Brussels to start- pork chop - beat thing we ordered, Cooper’s is better- filet, 8 oz.- salad with house dressing - way too sweet- squash - just squash.- mushrooms - they were beautiful but ah- asparagus - perfectly doneWine - out of the bottle we ordered. Second choice was something we would have at homeAtmosphere. It’s a country club. The bar is the place. It’s also the 19th hole.

I was excited about the new menu but I was disappointed about the food . The steak wasn’t seasoned before it was cooked so it wasn’t very good. Also had the pasta dish with salmon and shrimp it was too salty and the paste was chewy . I’m hoping since it is a new chief at the restaurant his is dishes will improve over time .

Visiting from South Padre Island, we decided to try... inspite of bad reviews. The views are amazing... but the reviews were spot on. For us, they were open for business, but there were no customers. Why, you ask? Perhaps it could be that not one staff member was there to assist. There was one person in the pro shop who ignored us and didn't offer to find help. After about 20 minutes of waiting and looking around, we left. The best part was the scenery on the drive up and back. We eat out regularly at high-end restaurants at home and in our travels. This business has a lot to learn about service.
