“We were passing through Kerrville on the way back from our Eclipse road trip. The food was excellent and our server Stacy was awesome. She was very personable and had a unique personality, which we loved. She asked my husband to cut into his steak right after she served it to make sure it was perfect! When she refilled my teenage sons coke, she gave him the whole pitcher! We just loved her personality and it was part of the best experience! The food was great and it was such a lovely location by the river. I would highly recommend this place!“
“I’ve visited The Lakehouse on two separate occasions and they were both great! We were there last night and our whole family loved the food but especially the service. We had Sebastian as our server and he was great! Even our kids commented on awesome he was!“

“Favorites: Delicious alligator bites! the deviled eggs with shrimp are really good. For entrees, our faves are: fried shrimp and catfish plates. Gumbo is another favorite! They serve american catfish here which tastes so good… mild not fishy at all. ?“
“Great food. I didn't expect such a great steak along with my fresh shrimp. Steak was tender, well-spiced and perfect temperature. The portions were large. Appetizer of boudin balls were delicious, along with the sauce. I hope they get a better, larger location. This food deserves a better, larger location.“
