I got a pound of sausage and a large size of ranch style beans for my kids. They ate it up! Very good and reasonable. I also had the brisket sandwich and it was to die for.
The only problem I had was finding this place. There were only a couple of small signs that I missed the first 2 times I drove by.My son and I got a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich. We split them in half so we could try both. Hands down some of the best brisket either of us have ever tried. The pulled pork was good but we would love to go back for more brisket. If we ever travel to the area again, we will be back!

Last year, while visiting Texas, I tried smoked brisket for the first time at a DIFFERENT place and was unimpressed. Skeptical, I tried some from here, and OH MY GOODNESS!! What a difference!!! It was so MOIST and TENDER, I think I could have cut it with a plastic fork!! The pulled pork was delicious, too! I’m not crazy about beans, but instead of being “sweet-bbq” like the canned beans are, these were super flavorful with a hint of “chili-bbq” type flavor to them. YUMMMM!!!! Absolutely worth visiting!! Thank you from a PNW visitor!! (Next time we’ll have to go earlier, so we can try the ribs, Mac & cheese, and potato salad, all of which was sold out…. Must be fantastic!)
Mr Stephen smokes the most flavorful brisket and chickens I've ever had in the state of Texas. I've been eating off a tender, moist, and flavorful brisket I picked up last week and I just cannot get tired of it. Today I chopped up a portion of brisket and spread the tender, moist pieces across the top of a very large chopped romaine & spinach salad. I then sprinkled some chopped grape tomatoes over that, then lightly drizzled a balsamic dressing over this huge meal..... it was to die for! I'm so full, but my taste buds want more......

We've eaten at Raisin' Smoke many times. Based on those experiences we had Steven cater a party we had for 40 - 45 people. It was all excellent. All of our guests complimented the food. I suspect he'll get some new customers after Saturday.

Today is the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend. I picked up half of a brisket at 1:00 pm today and, let me tell you, it was off the chain……Just the right amount of fat on the top side to keep it moist. I can’t get enough of this moist, tender & flavorful mouth full of deliciousness! Now I’m looking forward to my next family gathering when I will order these guy’s whole smoked chickens!

Pass this place going to Longview from Chandler, and finally stopped on Saturday. Even tho it was pouring rain they were still serving.Got a pulled pork sammich/chips/Kool aid pickleAMAZING!!! Portions are huge, had enough to make another sammich and he couldn't have been nicer and answered all my questions, smiled and wished me a good day and safe travels! Coming back again this week to try some sides!Don't pass him up, pull in and get you some GREAT EATS!

Excellent, juicy, fell off the bone right into my mouth, smoked chicken. I almost ate the bones. The hot links snapped and were juicy. Perfectly done. I even tried the Kool-Aid pickles. Don't drive past this place if you are hungry. You will regret it. Friendly people, excellent food at a great price.

The pulled pork sandwich was amazing and I love the potato salad. I don't usually like the beans at BBQ places but they were really good. I stole a bite of someone's cause they said they making the yummy noises while eating them. I WILL be doing that again. Next time the chicken sandwich and tomato cucumber salad. And maybe the mac & cheese.

The portions are plenty. The flavor it perfect. The prices are more than reasonable. The people are incredible. We will be back and this time, I will get some potato salad. It was great with the pulled pork sandwich.
