Took 35 mins to get food. So make sure you have time to wait. Food is decent though. So the experience was not the best.

Food took over 30 mins. Workers were not very friendly and didn't apologize for food taking so long. Won't be coming back, C&H in heights is much better.

Very Long wait. The food is not great. Not recommended at all. The workers have bad attitudes as well as the cook lady on the back.

Visited the L and L in Plano several times and the service there was always very brusque, but the food was great. Was very excited when one opened in Killeen. Went by today and got the kalua plate. Watery, and so salty to a point that it is almost inedible, and I gave up on it after a few bites. Did they cook it in seawater? The rice was soaked in the watery, salty runoff from my sad entree but this wasn't enough to hide the fact that the rice was old and hard in places. Very disappointing. The musubi was good but it blows my mind that the spam is way less salty than the kalua plate.

Whenever a new place opens we like to give them a few months to get established and then go in and try it out. We ordered a variety of items, a few recommendations from the young lady at the register and went to wait on our food. Couple of touchy issues for me that I couldn't give 5 stars for service. Food prep, even sauces, happening at the front counter is a bit concerning. The young lady working the counter was very quiet, not very welcoming but was polite. The food was fantastic. We ordered a few different chicken dishes, musubi, and some other sides. Everything was cooked properly, the sauces were all as advertised. The decor was very basic, the general design of the place had not changed from the previous restaurant. They slapped a new coat of paint, turned the front counter to face the doors, and swapped out a few pictures.

Very clean location. Food was made properly, especially the macaroni salad not being soggy and too much mayo in the recipe mix. Bathrooms are clean. Spam mitsubi generous size.

My brothers ordered the BBQ plater, and the meat was very hard. I ordered the pulled kalua pork, and it was tasteless. I was very disappointed since I heard nothing but good things about this place.

Poor customer service. Called to make an order. Person picked up phone, did not say hello, and left phone on counter while assisting someone in store. Lady never came back on the phone and possibly left phone off the hook. I hung up and recalled for over 15 minutes and phone went straight to voicemail (not set up yet). Then, sent my son to restaurant to make the order and received very poor customer service by Ayvah. No greeting when he walked up; made a “pshh” comment and rolled her eyes when he ordered something well done; took his payment, returned the card and walked away. He waited for the receipt and she told him to grab the receipt off the register himself. How ridiculous is that for customer service. The owners should be shame having these kind of workers. Hopefully owners read this review. Today is Saturday 3/23 around 645pm.No thank you. I will make the drive to Cove for Hawaiian BBQ from Toas.

I live in Austin but when I'm in the area I typically make it a point to stop at L&L to grab a bite. Being from Hawaii, this place always reminds me of home and tastes just like it was made in Hawaii. Chicken Katsu, Kalbi, LocoMoco, the Mac Salad... whatever you get you can't go wrong. It can take a little bit to receive your food (depending on how busy it is) so a good idea would be to order online and/or call ahead in advance unless you don't mind waiting a bit.

My husband and I have food poisoning. We ordered last night. The only thing we both ate was the Mac salad which I’m assuming that’s what is causing us to be sick. The other food we got was good though.

Usually love this place and the people but the young lady with red hair that worked there tonight really needs help with costumer service...I ordered a bunch to go and after 30min of waiting I ask how much longer and she was rolling her eyes and had a general nasty attitude... she ask the kitchen and they didn't found my order ( the gentleman that took my order was new I guess) and was a honest mistake but when I ask her how much longer it would take she told me at least another 30min with attitude again... never was the word sorry or anything being said...
