“It will surprise you. It is not what you think.When I think of a VFW I think of a bunch of curmudgeons just sitting around smoking and drinking cheap beer. It is not that at all.First off Its smoke free indoors. You dont have to be a veteran nor a member to go in. It's very laid back and casual. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Inexpensive drinks. Everyday has something different to do from Shuffle board tournaments, 8 ball tournaments, poker nights, bingo nights, karaoke nights, and live music some weekends with NO cover charge.They even boast 22 large screen TVs with The NFL Ticket.The event hall is available for rent. I have no reason to rent out the hall but it's so cheap to rent it makes me want to.“

“Food was awesome! We went with a larger group, and everyone left happy. We were a little nervous when we pulled up, front side of the building had boards on the windows, but glad we decided to check this spot out. Service was good and the deserts were amazing too. “As empty nesters, we often find ourselves going out to dinner. 7 years ago, we were so excited to see LP’s sign going up in our neighborhood. From the first time we visited to now (literally) hundreds of times, we have never once left disappointed in the food or the service. The owners and staff have become family to us because of their constant care and attention. They take time to get to know everyone that walks in the door and make them feel at home and a part of the Local Pint community.The food quality has been top notch since day one. From their staples of the BOJ burger and chicken strips to the creative new items available each month we are constantly in love with every bite.I’m not a big beer drinker but my husband is and tries something new every time we go. He loves the variety and quality of each pint. “Kara, Jackie, and John are absolutely amazing. I love the atmosphere here, they have decorated the bar beautifully, when you visit ask to be shown the “deuce Wayne” hilarious painting. They teach art classes and have a diy craft room too! A perfect date night or girls night out. “This is one of those places where the regulars are actually really cool. I have had the privilege of going to Dan’s Silverleaf for the past three weekends. I used to live in Denton, but I did not frequent this place. I didn’t know what I was missing out on. They always have some great music and it’s a really fun lively crowd and if you are with Kyle and Jack dog (Pictured in his element at Dan’s) then you’re VIP. The Geezerpalooza was totally awesome. I quit smoking 2 years ago but something in this charming cigar bar sang me a siren song. I suddenly found myself smoking a Leather Rose cigar and drinking a $20 old fashioned. “The place is spacious with very cozy ambiance. I’ve been there a few times already for the quiz game that is being organized once a month for the Russian-speaking community. The service is quick and super friendly, the food is so yum!! Initially, I haven’t expected the food to be amazing in a sports bar, but damn, those buffalo chicken wings are just delicious!! The pricing is overall inexpensive, at least compare to other bars in the area. Overall, highly recommend for anyone who wants to hang out with friends or family and enjoy their food and time!!
