“Heard good things about this place in the various local food groups, and it's always packed when I drive by, so we decided to try it out on a miserably rainy Thursday evening. Fast, friendly, and attentive service, the ambiance is pretty much what you'd expect for a solid Tex Mex restaurant, and the food was great! We also partook of the happy hour drink specials and were not disappointed.Wife and I just decided to split one of their appetizer platters -- the one with all the chicken stuff. Somewhat comically, one of the two chicken jalapeño poppers was completely devoid of filling (it was the right size and shape so clearly the filling must have seeped out during deep-frying). I notified our server and she swiftly replaced it with not one but TWO extra poppers (one chicken, one cheese). Hooray!Wife decided she needed more protein and we ordered the cóctel de camarónes and you need to understand that this was always the dish her dad would make her when she was younger and she needed cheering up so it's near and dear to her heart. It is no small praise to indicate that it met with her approval.Chips were good. Salsa was quite tasty, though more liquid than solid. Nothing wrong than that; just observing.They also gave us a couple sweetened coffee shots at the end of our meal. Neat!Also, there was an abuelita serving the table next to us, unapologetically forcing some Español out of the exceedingly white family in the table next to us and calling them mijo and mija and while our server was great, I've never had server-envy more in my entire life. “I've been coming here for several years now and it's always amazing. I've never had a bad experience and the food is always top notch. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. This is simply the best Mexican restaurant in the Flower Mound/Lewisville area.“
“Found this place on a Wednesday night when all surrounding bars had league night. Place looked a little rough around the edges from the outside. But once we went in we were pleasantly surprised. They had a fun trivia game we got to enjoy while we played pool. Staff were extremely friendly. We even went back the following week! Definitely a new spot we’ll be frequenting.“

“Someone mentioned the vibe was weird... it was as soon as we walked in. But the curious in me wanted to still come in and check it out... I thought it would be more like a coffee/light bites cafe but it wasn't that. Even so I wanted to check out what CBD/flowers they have. Being from Cali, I'm always skeptical. The owner at first, I wasn't sure if she was friendly but when I explained I had chronic back/shoulder issues she was very eager to share the body balm and how wonderful it is. She said that if I didn't like it I can get a refund - to me that's a sign that she's really confident in this product, so I took a bottle at $50 a pop. I got in the car, eager to try it.... OMFG! It's amazing! I've spent a lot on CBD rubs and other lotions and potions.... This thing does wonders. Although we didn't stay because the vibe (and I don't think it was Carol but perhaps the other people at the bar), I will be coming back for this and excited to try what else Carol would recommend.“
“Just moved to Lewisville and was hoping to find a live music bar to hang out for a few hours.First of all, everyone was so welcoming. It's definitely mostly locals, but they were all awesome. Second, the music was phenomenal!! The sound system is perfect, and I hear they have occasional karaoke nights.... I have a feeling I'll be dropping in there quite often.“
“Layton was amazing. He was very attentive and just a sweetheart. Any and everything we needed and desired he took care of it! I got the old-timer Burger and I don't eat meat so I got the bean burger patty it was amazing! With broccoli.. my daughter got the kids pasta but instead of chicken we got shrimp and she loved it! With the broccoli then we had a lovely lava cake everything was wonderful! Definitely will be going back“

“I stopped in this joint after the longest, taxing and exhaustive road trip in all of history. It is less than a mile from my hotel. I quit smoking 2 years ago but something in this charming cigar bar sang me a siren song. I suddenly found myself smoking a Leather Rose cigar and drinking a $20 old fashioned. To be fair, it tastes like a $20 old fashioned and was concocted, served and accompanied by a charming woman that sparkled in every direction. Dazzled my eyes, soothed my road-weary bones and the two gentlemen smoking cigars with me?
