“This restaurant is at the Lakeway Resort, on the lake, so it is off the beaten path and requires a little a drive unless you live, or are staying, in Lakeway. It has a bit of a view, but not great. TR Restaurant is not well marked, and neither is the parking area, which is not visible from the front of the restaurant. However, the service and food is great! There were three in our party for a birthday celebration. One had the New York Strip Steak, which was ordered rare, and actually was cooked rare! One ordered the Salmon and remarked that it was probably the best they had ever had. I ordered the Ribs, which were boneless, tender, and moist - almost like a roast. In addition, they served the Birthday Boy a complimentary piece of flourless chocolate cake that was fudgey and wonderful. The prices were more reasonable than most of the comparable restaurants in town, although the menu is more limited. We will definitely be back.“

“Oak hill social has good food and drinks. We were over there for the Sunday brunch and the owner or Manager named Trey came and talked to us. They have many good ideas planned from Margarita Mondays to Taco Tuesdays. Both are unlimited drinks or food.“

“For the price point, the sushi is pretty good! They also have noodle dishes and a few other options if sushi isn't for you. We go here for a weeknight "we're craving sushi but don't want to shell out too much $$" sort of meal. The ambiance is a mix of sushi restaurant meets sports bar meets live music from time to time, which can be a little overwhelming, but tucking yourself in a booth can help with the overstimulation.“

“A must visit for folks looking for a trendy place serving good Mexican food. We dined there for the first time last week and were very impressed with the food and the service. The nachos starter was wonderful - right balance of spices. But the stars of the show were the tacos - especially Quesabirria - it was hands down one of the best tacos we ever had. The Carnitas and Campechano were also wonderful. The flavor of the meat was outstanding and stood on its own - did not need a lot of condiments to add flavor. We will definitely be back.“

“Excellent fajitas, nice big deck with covered seating, and lots of choices (including a few vegetarian options). It wasn't very busy when we were there, and the service was pretty spotty (hard to eat queso without chips... or entrees without rollups), but overall we really enjoyed our visit.“

“Updating this review from a few years back. The Holy Aioli is still phenomenal! The tater tots and fries are fantastic along with the hot dog options. Beer selection is solid and Makayla, one of the managers, is absolutely amazing! We need more of these locations throughout Austin. ?“
