“I had visited Max's a few months ago and was incredibly impressed. Every aspect was perfect - the ambiance was fantastic, lighting was conducive to a date night setting, music was amazing, the wait staff interacted with us...the most amazing part was the delicious and potent drinks, and amazing menu choices. I LOVED the grilled pear salad, and enjoyed the grilled shrimp with rice. My partner had a chicken dish which was also amazing. I considered renting out the whole space for my grandkids upcoming graduation dinner. Fast forward to yesterday when I took my daughter there for a belated birthday dinner. The menu has completely changed. No more pear salad, no more shrimp with rice. Their format is now bao tacos. The menu has been downgraded (it seems to me), silverware has been replaced with plastic utensils, and ceramic plates downgraded to paper plates. We still had a nice time but I was not nearly as impressed with the menu options. I'll give them another try but since I didn't enjoy the dish I ordered yesterday, I would need to try something different. I hope this restaurant survives but it's doubtful if I would be content for very long with their new menu options. Maybe bring back some of the old menu for more options...?Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here, if well behaved. It's more of an adult place.“
“Abby's is a reasonable spot. Im not a big fan of crawfish being delivered to the table in a bag. I haven't been here since crawfish season last year. I remember last year being a little bit better. One so-so experience happens everywhere. Check out the drinks, and splurge on some crab legs.“
“Food was great! Service was more than amazing, from the moment we walked in Katherine greeted us so warm and friendly, and took care of us from start to finish, I was having a terrible day and my daughter knocked over her drink (almost sent meover the edge, stressed out moms can relate) but Katherine's kindness and sweet attitude made me feel so much better, she quickly helped and reassured me it was okay, (im sure she could tell I was stressed lol) but again her kindness made such a difference and im glad she was our server! They are lucky to have her!“
“Very helpful staff. The food was well done and flavorful. The ceviche was outstanding. The red snapper filets were pretty thick. The restaurant has a nice decor and there is plenty of room between the tables. It was a good choice and we'll be back.“
“COOKIES IN THE DAQUIRI TRY ITYou HAVE to go here. This lovely woman Tiernye tearyne? (tear-uh-nay i don’t even know how to spell restaurant okay?), she is the heart and soul of daiquiris okay?? You have to listen to her suggestions cause she NEVER MISSES. I let her do her thing and I had the best drink of my life. Also go for your birthday cause she WILL make it special. She made me a White Russian/banana bay with red velvet Oreos then cut it with make your own cause it was a little sweet for me. It’s my new favorite it’s so good. She also made my bf a virgin cherry with cheesecake, whip cream, and cookies, it’s TO DIE FOR! So good! I recommend this place for everyone ever. Also they will let you sample anything so you don’t get a drink you don’t want cause who wants that?“
“Had the strongest coffee of my natural life here yesterday. (What kind of coffee do you guys use, seriously?). I haven’t slept in over 24 hours at this point and I fear I may never sleep again. So if you’re looking to be ALERT in all caps, get the coffee here.“
“I initially was skeptical about the establishment because of the weird ingredients in their menu items. Wouldn't have gone to the establishment had it not been the location selected for an upcoming girls night with friends. Went in with the mindset that I would be recommending a venue change for girls night. Staff was friendly and server had good suggestions. I was impressed that the drinks were ordered initially weren't short on alcohol though the 2nd drinks weren't good. Food was actually really good and would be a great place for brunch. We won't be changing the venue for girls night and I would definitely go back.“
“Loved the ambiance and the service was great. LOVED how much they catered to my dog with a giant ice bowl of water outside and a choice of a plain burger patty or piece of chicken. Food was really good and I think I can get onboard with popcorn!“
“This was the 2nd time I've been, it was Friday and packed... But was able to get a table and just barely got the 1/2 priced app in! Got the combo fajitas, and the brown sauce they bring with it is devine! I like onions fully cooked and they are the only place I've found where they are caramelized and soft! The green salsa is so yummy. Ended with Tres leches and it was very tasty, and coated in milk. I definitely recommend this place! Also had Cade as our server, he was fantastic, very attentive, personable and made us laugh. Overall a great time tonight, even though a wait. Good job guys, y'all made a great impression!“
“AKB hotel bar inside The Archer Hotel.Friendly, attentive and prompt staff and service.Lovely views, welcoming atmosphere and cozy Texas ambiance, restaurant is kid friendly and conveniently located inside The Archer on the North side of The Domain area.Brick oven pizza while very cheesy was just okay. Menus included a variety of unique appetizers, entrees and signature drinks. The bartender offered a small sample of selections we were considering which was a nice option.Would recommend stopping by if in the area.Parking: Parking available street-side or in the Nordstrom parking garage. The Domain also offers valet service.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly seating areas, inviting and interesting area .“
“The PERFECT space for a wedding! Wish Well House is one of my favorite venues to work at as a wedding florist! Their staff is friendly, attentive, and always accommodating. If you are looking for a unique event space, there is nothing like this - Wish Well is a unique gem! Your wedding will be unlike any other in a space that is complimented by any color palette or style. 100/10!!“
“This restaurant and bar sits inside the brand new Cambria Hotel in North Austin near the Domain. They have fantastic drinks, outstanding food, and fast service! We actually live nearby and go here every once in a while for dinner and/or happy hour. Always a good time, and never misses. The *only* thing I would add: if there's a bar full of people watching football, let's put the football tv sound on the TV.I'd recommend this to anyone, and if you're visiting town, definitely take a nice stay at this beautiful hotel!“
“A great place for drinks , very welcoming and friendly. They have really good happy hour drinks however regular drinks are pricey. We really enjoyed the live music! We strongly recommend this place. However, expext pay a premium for the drinks ?“
“If you crave sushi, this is definitely the place to go. Charred edamame was great. Tuna tower was wonderful. Godzilla Bomb was wonderFul. Excellent service!!!! We had lunch in the open air area on a perfect Austin day. Wished I’d taken pictures.Parking: Domain parking is hit or miss. But you can always use free garage parking and walk a bit.“
“Quiet, clean, and nice.My partner and I stayed with our two dogs in 'the green room' overlooking the nearby creek. The room itself was spacious and modern in design. The bed was large and comfortable and the lighting was great. The bathroom was also modern in design and had a great shower that got really hot water.Within the room my only complaint was that the radio did not work and that the curtains leading to the small patio did not have a sheer panel to let some light in and obscure the room. Just know at night if you tried to leave the door open, out in the rural area of Round Rock, there will undoubtedly be some bugs that want to room with you too but this was not a huge problem.Though we did not use all the amenities the nearby bar had a good selection of offerings and the outdoor pool looked inviting. The 24 hour gym is a great feature which looked like it would be able to accommodate an ample workout routine. This hotel is within walking distance (about a ten minute walk) from the downtown which has a lot of entertainment options.Lastly the service was standout. The ability to text the front desk offered a more reserved and still personal option to acquire more towels or utensils. All in all this is a nice place and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.“
“Let me count the waysAmazing staff, so kind and loving. We were offered free drinks and did nothing to earn themAgua frescas made from fresh fruit in massive goblets. The best in AustinPastor tacos that will absolutely rival anything in San AntonioThis place is clearly run by folks who have a deep love and passion for what they do. Some of the best Mexican food in Austin I will swear to that. You are doing yourself a disservice not visiting them in favor of more “hip” taco places. Also they are open stupid late.“
“I'm coming out of 6 years of Yelp review retirement to applaud Mike at the W XYZ Bar at the Aloft hotel in the Domain. It's my first time in Austin, and I'm hating every minute of it, but Mike and his expertly crafted cocktail menu have made it just above bearable. Also, ordering "Ass in the Sand" is a power move.“
“I must I have gone to many sushi restaurants. I truly enjoyed this restaurant. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. Great vegetarian options. Well worth the price. I feel you would enjoy the service and ambiance. Great for dining in or takeout. Average money spent will be probably 40 to 80 dollars due to so many great options. Great for leftovers the next day. I will definitely come back again. I don't give 5 stars out very easily. Thank you for Great sushi. Enjoy.“
“We came to just sit outside and eat a meal. Was our first time there, and our server, I think was Andrew saved the day. There were a couple of hiccups along the way but he made everything better and for that reason we will come back. Food was good as well“
“Wonderful time. Food was top notch and light but very filling. High end restaurant for the price. Service was excellent and that atmosphere was laid back. Hard to find though as it's on the second level in Nordstrom. Definitely recommend.“
“This place is very unique and comfortable. Limited menu of well chosen sandwiches and appetizers. We didn't drink, but the bar looked amazing. The sign outside does not say The Watering Trough, so it was hard to find until I looked at the picture of the building.Kid-friendliness: Only three tables of people when we were there but we all had kids with us. Noon on a Sunday.Wheelchair accessibility: Our son is not in a wheelchair but has mobility issues and development delays, so I am always looking for places without stairs and wide open spaces between tables. The staff were patient while he ordered his own food and spoke to him kindly, rather than talking to me for him. I appreciate that so much!“
“Best place to get drinks in Downtown RR. These are actually bartenders, they know how to make delicious drinks and still have great service on top of that. l have yet to have a bad drink there, unlike most bars I have been to. They switch up the menu for special occasions and use fresh fruit. The bar itself is very small, but the decor is worth enjoying.“
“We sat outside for the beautiful view. It took someone over 10min to greet us. We ended up flagging someone down. Once greeted we paid out due to a time restraint. After our drinks came, we never saw the waitress again. We enjoyed ourselves because it was a fun night out but the service could have been better.“
“This is easily one of our favorite places to go for amazing food and drinks! Staff always treats us with the up most respect when we go. You can not go wrong with any of their signature cocktails either, I recommend:1. Cold blooded2. Bitter Beginnings3. Square RootsAll in all, this place is a bangin’ place for cocktails and food.“
“I went here to meet up with my co-workers. Was my first time trying it out. The meal and the company was top notch. The menu had good solid choices of familiar southern recipes. I got the herb crusted red snapper with asparagus and it was outstanding. If I was to describe it in a few words, I'd call it earthy Southern high-end cuisine. All the flavors that I remember from the best family gatherings and cookouts were there. You know, like that Uncle or Dad that marinades his meats for 24 hours and has the best barbecue that gets everyone taking. It's like that. Try the bacon wrapped quail. Rice was perfect. Brings back memories. Positive feedback for every dish at the table, good meal.“
“Beautiful place. Great Service. The food is so good, we fall in love for the chicken flautas. The chicken and beef fajitas were perfect. My son ordered the chicken quesadillas with sweet potato fries and had no complaints, he said he loved his food. You can leave without trying a margarita. We are looking forward to visit again.“
“I got the original chicken sandwich . My newborn was having a moment so I didn’t get to eat until about an hour after getting my food. YALL my chicken was still crispy! It was delicious completely cold so I will be going back and trying all the sauces! Plus the woman at the drive through was so kind!“
“If you were looking for somewhere for maybe a date, family outing or just dinner and are looking for the hibachi experience I would definitely recommend.Service was amazing and we were sat right away.Food was about what I was expecting nothing particularly outstanding but what I was craving.“
“LOVE IT! Food is amazing...the rice is more of a pilaf though so don't be disappointed when you get it. Service is excellent. I have never left this place disappointed.Wheelchair accessibility: It has a dirt parking lot and a ramp to get inside.“
“Excellent fajitas, nice big deck with covered seating, and lots of choices (including a few vegetarian options). It wasn't very busy when we were there, and the service was pretty spotty (hard to eat queso without chips... or entrees without rollups), but overall we really enjoyed our visit.“
“Updating this review from a few years back. The Holy Aioli is still phenomenal! The tater tots and fries are fantastic along with the hot dog options. Beer selection is solid and Makayla, one of the managers, is absolutely amazing! We need more of these locations throughout Austin. ?“
“This was my wife and my first visit here although we have been to a North Italia in Houston. The food was excellent. My wife had the soup of the day and some olive-oil bread, and I had the rigatoni. Good options were available for drinks and wine too. The service was prompt and friendly and prices decent. I would definitely go back. We did first start to go over to the bar after we finished our meal to have one last drink but the place was closing so we went to another place nearby.“
“Me and my staff have had our Christmas parties at Juliet's twice already and their food and staff is always top-notch. Me and my family have gone there on half a dozen occasions and we are always treated special there. The food at Juliets truly is amazing.“
“The food was great (we mostly skipped the salary bar). The chicken meats were out least favorites out of all the different meats even though they still tasted good. Service was great too. Very attentive and friendly. Enjoyed a great evening.“
