“This was my first time eating at Shells and Tails 2 Geaux and it definitely won’t be my last. Everything was so fresh… and good and these were the best Crab Legs that I’ve ever eaten. I got the Cajun Munch Sampler… and I was able to make three meals out of it.“

“This was a nice little spot. We were nearby and wanted to try something new. There's not much inside and outside can be a little fly attracting, but the food was good. Not the best birria tacos I've had but does have some good flavor. The guisado was pretty good too. Worth giving a try.“

“I called Miz G's to see she could make a butterscotch meringue pie and also a banana cream pie for my boss' birthday. Of course she could! Those pies were gone in less than 30 minutes. Her pies are hands down THE BEST! My boss had me call her this morning to order another butterscotch and lemon meringue pie for this coming Friday. We can't wait! His mother used to make him a butterscotch pie back in North Carolina and said Miz G's tasted just like hers!I will continue to call her for future pies, cakes, cobblers, etc. for future work and personal events! I didn't get any pictures because we started eating them as soon as they arrived!“

“We recently had to hire David and his team to cater a funeral for us. The feedback we received from everyone, and we had about 100 people , was absolutely incredible!!! We had brisket, baked beans, mashed potatoes, and all the extras like pickles, jalapeños, etc. and his “special Dave sauce” was amazing!! if we had any issues it was that there was no brisket left to take home lol. If you are looking for a catering service with amazing food, incredibly friendly people, You have found the right place. And we also love the fact it’s owned by a Christian family. “I'm a long-time Barbecue aficionado. I even have a list of the BBQ in Dallas. Which brings me to an issue, Who do I push off that list for D Jackson?This place has a great BBQ. The beef is good with well-rendered fat, and a nice smoky taste, the ribs are some of the best around with a great taste and rub and tender while not being overcooked. The Sides are good, fresh, and well-made. Meat however is king here. The service is good and the place though small has a loved feel to it. This place needs more love!“
