“Great experience. The owner was very personable and greeted everyone as he circulated through the restaurant. I found out he met his wife in my home town. He was very involved in his business and you could tell the employees enjoyed their work. You can tell when people hate their jobs, but here, there was an atmosphere of fun. Food was great and I'll be back to visit again.(BTW this was a pickup order and I still had a great experience)“
“The food was absolutely amazing and my waiter Matt did a phenomenal job. He answered all my questions with a smile and he also had a great personality the entire time.In regards to the food; the ribs had just the right amount of pull to them, while being nice and tender.The brisket was extremely juicy and tender as well. Perfectly seasoned. I also got a side of chimichurri, which I highly recommend. It added even more flavor!!!The star of the show was the banana cream bread pudding. “Wildwood is a great place for food with a decent bourbon and whiskey selection.The cool novelty about the place is that they have a barrel pick of Buffalo Trace on tap... a rarity that I have never seen in any of my travels.I think the bourbon selection is a bit pricy for what it is, but overall it's a great experience and I've never had a bad meal here.“
“Great experience and this place is a hidden gem. Excellent brisket and sausage. Pulled pork was good too. Turkey was ok. The sides are difference makers. Surprise side dishes were the cauliflower and the fried green tomatoes. We went with a group and got to try a little bit of everything. Elote, okra and cauliflower were my favorite sides. Mac and cheese was ok. Will definitely be going back to try the Brisket grilled cheese with cauliflower as a side.Parking: Lots of free parking .“
“Great place that we stumbled across today! We have lived in Lewisville for 2+ years and this was the first time that we went to a local bar and I’m glad that we came here. Great drinks. Great dart area and nice pool tables. Also a table for beer pong and table tennis that seems fun. Shelly and other staff members were always making sure we were doing good so it was a nice change. We definitely will be frequent flyers moving forward!“
