Ordered a Cobb salad. Chicken was very rough. The rest of the salad was fine. Brought it to the attention of staff and they rectified it.

Today, I had an incredible experience thanks to Manny Callejas, the exceptional manager at the Longview store! Let me share the details: I had placed an order through a third-party service, but there was a mix-up with the timing that left me worried. Just as I was about to panic, Manny took the initiative to call and double-check the order before the scheduled afternoon delivery, which was incorrectly set for 4 PM.

Once he discovered that I was expecting the food at 12 PM, he stepped in and orchestrated the situation with impressive finesse. Manny not only ensured that the order was corrected but also personally delivered the first batch himself! His commitment and exceptional customer service transformed a potentially stressful situation into a seamless experience.

I’m absolutely going to rely on ROOST again in the future—this time, I’ll be calling the store directly! Thank you, Manny, for going above and beyond!

The staff were overworked with little situational awareness. We ordered the breakfast, and the food was bland at best. The food was dry, the potatoes were the worst offender, and the bacon on par with beef jerky. There was a separate wait on the pancakes, which was redeeming, but it was at the end of the meal.

Don’t fall for the strawberry “cheesecake” French toast. For a $1.99 up charge, you get regular French toast with no cheesecake. The “cheesecake” is a very thin icing (think donut glaze) drizzled over the French toast with a few fresh strawberry slices. Then, there’s powdered sugar on top of that. Definitely not worth the up charge. It was so sweet, I couldn’t eat it.

This place is hit and miss for me, but I'll continue to eat there. I do not recommend the Ruben there are better ones in Longview.

First time there and the chicken salad with avocado and cilantro on toasted sourdough was yummy.
And the tomato basil soup was super creamy and delicious 😋
My friend had a Cobb salad with raspberry vinaigrette that was fresh and absolutely gorgeous and large enough to share. Will definitely be a place I eat again.

Wow!!! Amazing!!! Can’t wait to try more items on the menu - the egg salad, chicken salad, catfish, and shrimp were perfect!!

My buddy said The Roost sandwich was awesome as well as the potato salad- he barely finished The Roost - huge serving.

Love this place and will continue to visit. However, don’t order the catfish. Batter is over and fish is under. Everything else I’ve ever had from here is worth every penny and will keep me coming back. But need to take the catfish off the menu or find someone who can cook it properly. The 3 stars is for tonight, everything other experience has been 5 star and I will make up for it!
