The store employee Freddy is super mean. I am sick and have been all week, I ordered some food and because I ordered through app i had to come in and get it. He wouldn't even listen that I've been sick and can't enter store. He slammed the window shut and wouldn't hear me. The young lady on duty was super nice and apologetic. I already paid for my order and had to go in. Shame on him. Rude and totally disrespectful.

The manager at this location was very rude and unprofessional. Be careful putting in a mobile order he will ask 500+ questions to make sure it’s yours even when you have all the info.

KFC used to be the “go to” place for great chicken. But like most fast food restaurants in this day and age, it’s went straight down hill. All the KFC’s in Lubbock are terrible; but the one on 50th and Slide is down right disgusting. That place should be demolished. How does it even pass health inspections??? The owner of these establishments has obviously made his fortune and has no intentions on making KFC a great place to get chicken. The food service preparation area is nasty, building stinks, equipment is extremely old. Extra crispy chicken is extra soggy and no flavor what do ever. Employees are disgruntled because of these issues and are not even trying to get orders correct; just throwing items in a bag without any gesture or word thanking customers for their business. The owner should be ashamed and embarrassed.

We dined in, food was dried out, even worse was the EXTREMELY rude worker, not just to my family but to other customers as well! He ought to be ashamed of himself, he made my family so uncomfortable we didn't even want to finish our food in his presence. bro the famaous bowl was amazingly good still. been yeaaaars since i got it.just perfect and service was complete by the time i got to the window. the lady was fast and very very polite. has to be the best KFC in lubbock. no doubt about it.
Ordered a famous bowl and got pulled around to wait. Only person in line and it still took 5 minutes to get my food. Ridiculous. Staff also crazy rude.

So I Went to go pick up a mash potatoe bowl I was craving and I get home and start eating and I see this I stop and look and see if it my hair and the hair is BLACK and I have blonde hair so immediately I knew it wasn’t mine, and I look around and see the sticker pick it up and see all the hair around it like it was on the floor. On top of that I had to wait for my food as well. I called THREE times no one picked up, and I live to far from this KFC and I knew if I drove back they would’ve thought I did that myself. I usually go to the one on 50th by my house and I should’ve stuck to that one.

Ordered online to be picked up at 5pm, was ready on time. Got home and noticed we didn't have our biscuits so called to let them know. The guy was rude and said he would have them ready to be picked up. Got here and only had 3 ready so we have to wait 16 minutes for 1 biscuit. Yes I should have checked before leaving but no excuse to be rude and lie. Will not return.

Worst experience I have ever had with a KFC. Order #17968937. Order was wrong. Bone in chicken was dried out. Like it was multiple hours old. We ordered original but got crispy. Ordered dark meat only and got both white and dark. Not to mention the how small each piece was but that may have been because it was so dried out. Spicy chicken sandwich was dried out like it was hours old. Not one thing in the order was remotely fresh. Is this the new norm for KFC?
The 50th & Slide location is AWFUL ?! The service here in the afternoon is completely atrocious! Rude associates AND managerial staff, and the quality of the spicy chicken sandwich left much to be desired. I was left feeling like less than a 2nd class citizen. I will never be back here again.
