So first and foremost this is not a food truck. BUT I'm happy it isnt because it was so hot today.First off everyone was rather friendly. From answering questions about items the people were knowledgeable on their food which is something I love to see.The onigiri was straight. Simple and too the point and very fresh. Sushi rice, Tuna, nori. The spicey mayo however could use an extra kick.Now the fun part. I just recently moved to lubbock from dallas. And dare I say the Tonkotsu Pork ramen broth was even better than the place I normally order ramen from and a tad cheaper. The broth is extremely rich and the noodles are buckwheat soba (despite me being used to the thicker chewy kind) i still loved it. It still had springy and chewiness to it. Everything was very spot on even to the marinated egg. Absolutely delicious and I will be coming back.

I really like the ramen shack from their beginner meals to the ramen it's self. I first had the ramen when it was still just a food truck and really enjoyed it. But as of lately i've been quite disappointed with Ramen Shack when it comes being closed when they are said to be open, closing early and in my opinion the quality of ramen has gone down. I wish the ramen shack best and hope to return to a better ramen shack.

Delicious!? My family visited for the first time last week. I had the Hot Miso with some additions. The broth was spot on and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I'll definitely be back soon!

This is an original and quality place that our area is lucky to have! The food was SO good, great dining room, and just an all around 100% great experience.

I don’t ever post reviews or anything but my family and I had such a pleasant experience at Ramen Shack tonight. I felt really bad that we walked in an hour before closing but they were super welcoming. I hadn’t been to the actual brick and mortar and the place was so nice! Really cool atmosphere.

I’ve tried every noodle place in town, and this is almost definitely the best noodle quality in the area. I tried the Shio Ramen and the broth was a bit lackluster but I don’t usually go for Shio so maybe I just need to try something pork-based next time. I’ll be back for sure, the new brick and mortar location is very nice and the employees are awesome. Worth the driving a few mins out of town for.

I used to eat at their food truck once in a while and I finally decided to try their restaurant. The restaurant does not disappoint same great food and same great service! It was our first time trying Ramen Shack! Everything was amazing! I had the miso hot- medium and my husband had the tonkotsu. Both were incredibly complex and flavorful. We also tried the bao buns and gyoza. They were both so good, that we couldn’t decide which one was better. We overheard the owner explaining how he adds flavors and spice over the course of several hours. You can really tell how much time is put into each dish! The sticky toffee cake was the perfect end to a perfect lunch! It is now our favorite dessert ever! Make sure you save room for that dessert! 10/10. We’ll be back tomorrow!

The owner was very nice from the beginning so I knew this was going to be a different ramen experience than I’ve ever had before. Me and my wife have gone EVERYWHERE in Lubbock tx looking for the perfect ramen bowl and we have found it here. We are now in LOVE with this place; if you guys are looking for the best bowl of ramen The Ramen Shack is the place to go they keep it lively with awesome music. And not to mention the owner even came to me and my wife to ask if it was good trust we assured him it was the absolute best. We will definitely support this small business again! Much love to them!
