Sams southern eatery/Lubbock

Sadly, it seems this place has closed down. Those who did not eat here missed out on some great freshly made food with large portions. These not only were the best, largest fried shrimp I've seen in town, they always give you at least 3 extra on top of what the menu says. My favorite was probably the Po Boys which were huge, and also came with a couple extra fried shrimp. Their meals were very consistent and orderly, you could tell they were packaged with care. This is a little hidden gem! Food was outstanding, service was great! So hard to find seafood in West Texas that is fresh and doesn't break the bank...well here's your spot. Restaurant was very clean and food was great. Just doesn't get much traffic due to location but management told us they will probably be moving to another location soon. Don't hesitate to try this place!

Me and my coworker stopped by during our lunch hour and were seated and served drinks immediately, waiter was super sweet and he took the time to check on our table. Our food came out super fast and was hot. I had never been here before but it was so delicious! Definitely recommend and will be coming back! Oh and the playlist was jammin!
