We had a lovely lunch after walking around TTU campus with our kids to see where they went to classes and studied. We recommend the fried cheese appetizer. It was tasty. The service was quick. Our food was tasty. The atmosphere was fun. Our teenage son appreciated the quantity of food that came with the “He Man Woman Hater” meal.
Kitschy college bar food. We wanted to eat at a place that was unique to Lubbock but didn't want to lunch to take forever. Spanky's was in the area so we took a chance. Everything is deep fried or over-sized and a bit oilier than it should be. You place your order at the counter then go find a table. We got there as the lunch rush was starting to thin out. First time trying this restaurant while in lubbock, best burger I've had in a long time. You can't visit spankys without getting the cheese sticks. Best I've ever had. Food came out quick, hot, and fresh. Highly recommend.
