“The first time here is a good food place. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with green chile, my daughter ordered the cheese burger without the bun, and a side salad. My wife had a cheese burger with a side of onion rings. Everything was very good, so good that even the sight of the food made it so tempting. “We love Blue sky but it is basically a self serve place. You pay and no one asks if you need anything or if your food order was ok. It is so very expensive to eat there and you basically receive no customers service..we keep going back because the food is good. But at least Sonic sends someone around to see if you need anything we ordered chilli cheese fries, 3 hamber steak plates and 4 drinks for over $80.00. That a lot for no service.“
“I have to commend Chris the manager. My family and I eat at this location quite often. The food is always up to par and the wait staff is always incredible. On my most recent pick up order, I arrived home to find my down and dirty chicken strips without any ranch dressing. Anybody that has eaten at Caprock knows that the ranch is incredible, so I was a little disappointed. I gave the restaurant a call and was passed off to Chris the restaurant manager. Chris expressed his sincerest apologies for forgetting the ranch and offered to remake my food if I wanted to come back and get that. Not only did Chris make remake my order but he also remade my other two entrées as well. He came out, and personally gave me my new order and again apologized for the inconvenience. After having many bad experiences with restaurants in this town, Chris and his staff further show why we eat at Caprock Cafe as much as we do.“

“Ok listen I don't leave reviews very often unless the food is really bad or exceptionally good and let me tell you it is exceptionally good. They stuff their own sausage. Their ice cream is the best I've ever had. Their brisket, smoked turkey and sausage are all amazing. I wasn't disappointed by anything. I wish we had one back home. “We have been wanting to try Lubbock's Breakfast House & Grill on University for awhile now so we took a shot and my, my, my! We were not disappointed! From the service, to the food, to the cleanliness. Our experience was a great one. We were so impressed we went two days in a row and both days were equally enjoyable! Gloria and Demi, our servers, were really sweet and attentive. Those ladies work their tails off making sure everyone is well taken care of. They kept our coffee cups topped off and hot, as was our food. The only exception being the biscuits and gravy which were cold when we got them which they rectified, not enough to deduct a star in my opinion. Try the Pork chop and eggs with the home fried potatoes, the Chicken biscuits and gravy, or the Ham, green chili and cheese omelette. They were all delicious! Y'all have new customers for life anytime we're in town that's for certain!“

“The location off of the South Loop and Quaker Ave is my favorite location. The food is always hot and fresh, including the fries, which is a problem I've had at other locations. I don't normally eat inside food establishments due to my dog traveling everywhere with me but when I'm able to eat inside the restaurant is always clean. Chicken is crispy yet light, meat is tender and juicy, and the sides have some love put into them for sure. The chips and queso was awesome and when we ran out of chips they were happy to give us a fresh batch without us even asking or charging us more. Our kids loved it and ate almost everything on their plate, which is a major win. The green beans were insanely good but all of the sides looked incredible. Lots of different condiments to go with the chicken. If I were to have any negative criticism it would be that I thought the chicken could've benefited from a little more flaky salt out of the fryer.
