If down home mamas cooking is what you’re looking for, this is it . I usually get the senior portion chicken fried steak (due to massive size) but have not had a bad thing here ever . I eat here often and suggest it to many.
Great little "hole" in the wall. We stopped for lunch in our way to Houston, great little place. We enjoyed a variety of lunch sandwiches and a delicious slice of butterfinger pie. My husband loved the complimentary pinto beans. Everything was terrific!

Best bologna sandwich you never knew you had to have. Onion rings were good and the free bean soup was a nice way to start the meal. Although the hush puppies were delicious, I might skip it next time as the side was I believe $3 for 3 hushpuppies. Next time I’ll save room for dessert.
