This establishment itself is OK but the bathrooms alone have me screaming no! There are only two stalls, one which does not lock and the other who has a trash can sitting literally right on top of the edge of the toilet seat. No no no!!!! Not to mention this trash can is also full of toilet paper! this is a massive ‘‘need to fix’ issue!

I usually love this place. But today I ordered a taco salad. I got a spoon of meat, a spoon of cheese and I think a whole bag of lettuce. Ranch dressing that I hate. And with a drink it was almost 18.00. That was expensive lettuce.

I was driving past Marshall, TX for the first time and wanted the best meal the city had to offer so I googled the highest rated restaurants with the most reviews and chose this place over 2 of their competitors. I normally read a few reviews, but I trusted the average rating of the 1,800 reviewers and the fact that the restaurant was in business for 30 years... and that was my first and last time making that mistake.I ordered the Carne Asado. I've ordered it a million times from restaurants all over the world and I never had a bad order, until tonight. I questioned my taste buds and then I questioned my health, because something was off with the steak's texture and the taste and I couldnt quite figure it out. It looked perfect but tasted overly charred. It was spongy and chewy but not in a overcooked kind of way.... in a frozen meat patty that im not 100% sure is beef that was thawed out in the sink all day and then heated in the microwave and basted with liquid smoke and then had grill marks drawn it. It was so bad, I didnt finish my plate.I was so confused I finally went to read reviews and found out I wasn't crazy and the steak is just that weird. Too many people questioned the steak anf overall food to justify the 4 star rating.The rice was dry and the dish didnt come with tortillas. Maybe it was a bad night or maybe I just got the only bad item on the menu. I don't know but I do know I don't plan on going back.
