Just getting out of the house on a sunny Tuesday morn and ol' Blackie, my p'up truck took me to Mason. So I inspected the refurbished Court House and had a light lunch at the Square Dish. The smiling and friendly waitress recommended the Chicken and Dumpling as it was the days special. And was it ever! Service was great. Had a nice lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. Caught them near closing time (sorry) so it was pretty empty. Food was good and carrot cake was awesome! Recommend!

Excellent healthy quick midday meal. Wish we could find places like this everywhere on our travels.Dietary restrictions: Wanted a good chicken salad. Got it w cabbage. Excellent cheesecake too
