this was our first time here. the food was good and portions were plenty and Daniela took great care of us. even though the music from the restaurant next door was way too loud we enjoyed our 2 hour lunch outdoors. i would suggest that they put some cute umbrellas up and some lights for ambience.

This has to be the best dining experience I have had in McAllen so far. From the warm inviting hostess, to the attentive staff even with a party going on to the hard working bartender and ray the bust boy that is working his tail off. Get in here and eat some great food good service and great cannolis. This will be my usual spot .

I absolutely LOVED this place! From beginning to end, everything was excellent! The food was incredible!!!! I had to stop myself from ordering MORE!!!! Needless to say, I came back home and was completely disappointed that there was no Houston location!!!!

I was having doubts of coming back to this restaurant. The food is excellent but service and management is slacking. My daughter convinced me to go one more time and I gotta say I'm glad I did. Overall I had such a nice evening with my daughter definitely coming back to ask for Daniela. She's a slash bartender and server and made our evening that much more better.

First off starting with the hostess, we had a warm welcome. Then as we were taking to our table we were spotted by our previous server Julio, he welcomed us back and as we passed his tables we requested an area in his service. Luckily we found a great server by the name of Marcos. Marcos attended us very well, service like no other at buddy V's. Both our past and present servers were amazing. To top it off we were also met by Pablo, one of the managers whom treated us as well as any other restaurant manager could treat us. We want to thank you all for all the great experiences you've given myself and my family. Next time we will be in a bigger group to experience even better service. Lauren the restaurant manager even made it a point to make our night great by making sure we were all happy. Again thank you to all the staff from Hostess and cooks all the way up the food chain. All the way to Buddy V who took a chance in opening up in the Rio Grande Valley. Thank you all.

Overall the food is not worth price, last time got Pasta Alfredo with chicken and the chicken taste like napkin, yeah napkin.
My favorite dishes are the tomato basil soap and chicken parmesan. They allow RSVPing for a birthday party as soon as the day of the party. They also let you bring in cakes from Carlo's Bakery inside the mall. I would definitely RSVP for Valentine's Day here.

The service is amazing!!! Our waitress was extremely nice and kept refilling our drinks. We ordered Buddy's Pizza and it was really good, the dough itself is thin but good. We also got the cheese sticks which are really good, the calamari was crunchy and savory. For dessert we ordered the cannoli, and the chefs were really nice and gave us a 2nd one for free since it was our first time here.
