Terrible food quality now. This use to be our go to atleast 2 times a month. We've spent hundreds of dollars at this location. But recently their mash potatoes have turned sooooo watery. The fried okra we got was half cooked and half over cooked because it was left in a fry basket and cooked twiceAnd their chicken tenders are soooo small and missing batter. We didn't even receive our rolls. I called to complain to the manager which was probably just a line cook as he didn't seem to speak proper English (broken English anyways.) And didn't care about my complaint. Just said he was sorry I felt that way. Extremely disappointed. Will not be coming back to this location I will definitely make the drive to another local town vs. Going to mckinney since the manager doesn't even seem to care about their customers. Loyalty has been broken at this location. ***Buyers beware!!*** Check your stuff before you drive off. This location must be under new management that doesn't seem to care about their customers at all. If I could give them zero stars I would. I've literally spent 100$ on chicken express as we have a very large family and again like I said about twice a month. For it to turn this bad of customer service. Such a shame.

I stopped here for lunch. I bought chicken breasts with a roll. The fried chicken breasts are very good, but you need to add the seasoning salt they have. The breasts are very big and juicy and the roll is good. The staff was nice. The inside was very clean and there is a nice patio with lots of red metal picnic tables. I would return here.

Got raw chicken the other day, didn’t notice until I had eaten half of it. Will never be back. Absolutely disgusting.

Didn't care for the boneless hot wings that others raved about. The mashed potatoes were tasteless. Sounds like I'm reviewing fine dining instead of fast food, but it was $14 for a combo meal.

Came through drive-thru ordered the two-piece fish fillet dinner and got it home and it is hard as a rock it's so thin it can't even tear it apart let alone chew it, called the manager and he could have cared less and by the way his name was Joe very disappointed in the whole experience!! Everything was precooked and very dry and DIDN'T GET DINNER AFTER VERY LONG DAY!!

I literally showed up at 855p (close at 10p) and wanted to order some wings and mashed potatoes; and was told they only had three wings left and they were not preparing anymore for the night. What is it with these restaurants closing down before closing time and thinking it's acceptable? The cost of food is already ridiculous, and now the service matches their prices.

I will not return - charging for condiments is outrageous. The young lady at the drive thru was very courteous.

The chicken tenders were good. The mashed potatoes were bland. The sweet tea was way too sweet. (Yes, I know it's supposed to be sweet. But I get at least 1 gallon a week in New Braunfels. McKinney's tea was too sweet. )I asked for honey mustard. The cashier said it would be 40 cents. I asked to trade out the gravy for the honey mustard. She said they don't do that. I understand paying for something extra, but thatseemed like a fair trade. My friend said he tried to go to this one and use a Chicken Express gift card and was told, they don't take gift cards.
