Staff is amazing!! I feel like I'm at someone's ranch home and they invited me over to eat some great Q, drink something adult and listen to some live music among friends. This place is really something special! Hidden on the backroads outside of McKinney city limits is this outdoor only seating, cozy eatery w/ a small bar; if you weren't looking for it you might miss it! Mom and I found out this land and restaurant is owned by a South African native who raises his own cattle for the restaurant. We really enjoyed the ribs, brisket and sausage. DELISH!! Another cool piece to this place is the sweet/quaint country store inside. They sell things like homemade local salsas, raw meats and a few other specialty items. I would HIGHLY recommend this place especially during the warmer months!

Grossly gummy pulled pork, inedible. Tasted stale. Under cooked jalepeno sausage, served cold. Who calls that bbq?Macaroni with hard pasta, dense, undercooked and no telling what kind of cheese sauce that was supposed to be.How can you mess up loaded French fries? I asked for queso on the side. They can't do that. So, "Loaded" fries came out with about about tablespoon smoked brisket on top of cheap frozen fries, thats it. Aioli was something tasteless and white.Lady came by to ask how it was. We told her how bad it was. She asked if it was so bad, why did we eat it. We showed our tasted but uneaten plate. She offered something different. We weren't willing.

Decided to visit on a Saturday for lunch. We ordered several things from the menu and each one was better than the other. Brisket and pastrami were both great along with the brisket tacos and cheese steak.We stopped by the butcher for some amazing cuts of beef on our way out.We will visit again soon.

Waited 40 minutes for pulled pork loaded tots and got brisket tots delivered instead. Decent but flavor could be improved upon with some jalapenos, spicy queso, elote, or cilantro. It was missing something.Atmosphere was wonderful and we played corn hole while waiting for our food. I’d be back, but would order something else.

I cannot imagine a more fun or unique experience. Amazing BBQ. Spices were well done and the food is flavorful. They make all their own sauces and jar a ton of unique offerings. Fresh steak is available on Friday and Saturday from their own herd and processing company. The bands are great and the facility is just flat cool. It is my new spot. Worth a trip. Drinks and beer options are plentiful.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of opportunities and space for parents with children.
What an awesome spot! Great farm to table BBQ, beautiful atmosphere, and the friendliest people. Those Brisket Taco’s were fantastic! Enjoyed the store, bought some salsa and brats. Can’t wait to come back again for live music in that beautiful space.
I'm giving my honest opinion here. The staff is super friendly and engaging with their customers but unfortunately the food is horrible. I've had lots of very good and bad BBQ here in Texas from Dallas to Austin and down to Houston. This place is simply horrible when it comes to taste and flavor. BBQ can be subjective on the person because not everyone likes lean or fat or dry or moist it's all on the person so that being said the flavor was super bland and just tasted bad. Yes, the brisket was pretty much only fat and the ribs were very chewy. Not worth the money at all. Do yourself a favor and grab the jalapeno sausage because no one can mess that up and it was the only thing that was palatable. My friends and family felt the same and I'd never go back for the food!!! Be warned!

Buckle up and get ready for some boot scootin' family fun! This is a barbque oasis in the backwoods, not far from Meyers Park with plenty of seating, a full bar, games and a stage for entertainment . I have had better brisket but the smoked chicken was delicious as well as the fried Okra. They have a store inside the building with meats and miscellaneous goods and all the seating is outside.I will definitely be back!

I’ve wanted to come here a hundred times since I first drove by. Today we finally did and it didn’t disappoint. The food was great, the atmosphere was amazing and the people were friendly.If I could I’d give 10 stars just for the (best ever) Bloody Mary and conversation with Jill. What an absolute great decision it was to make the visit today. We will be back by every chance we get!

First visit today, will definitely return and keep coming back! This will become one of my favorite places. Great food and service, atmosphere is second to none. Can't wait to come on a music night! Brisket was one of the most tender I've ever had, good smoke ring too. Jalapeño cheddar sausage was one of the best I've had, really well done. Banana pudding is the best I've had. And after the food, drinks, music, cornhole and fun, I can go to the store and bring beer brats and Krautwurst home! Can't wait to come back!
