“There are Subways on every block. A little dirty in the store. Our server was hard to hear and impatient, there was no one in the place. Food was good though and up to standard. Felt like our server had a lot of work to do and no one to help.“

“Why give a Subway a five star rating? Because there is a secret ingredient on their Spicy Italian? Because of the scenic dining room view over looking Texas Highway 6? Because their tuna is real? Because of the service. Gary (based on the conversation with the customer ahead of us and who I assume is the owner) served us last night and he was professional and pleasant. The care we had seen him take with the customer ahead of us, who was evidently a local, did not end with us. It's the little things; he smiled, he asked if the mustard, mayo, lettuce, etc were satisfactory, he made sure we were aware of the different color tags on our sandwiches, he tanked us and wished us a good evening, that all added up to a very good experience. The dining room was also exceptionally clean and in good order. It's always great to see someone take pride in their work no matter how trivial it may seem to the rest of us. Thanks Gary!
