Cisco lives up to the expectations of “Doing whatever it takes to serve the Mesquite Community” I visited this location for the first time yesterday and I can’t help but appreciate the honesty this location serves. Also if you enjoy a fresh deli here is the place! Can’t forget to mention the FREE ICE CREAM, I’m picky about mines but it’s all so good here, worth the price.

We got a BLT and the salad bar. Everything was flavorless. The only thing good was the tea. They used to have fresh fruit on the salad bar, but that's no longer a thing, very disappointed. The tables and booths are children size. We are not big people. Regret spending our money here.

I'm the friend Sniff the Raven discusses in his review. My friends wanted sandwiches for a late dinner. We checked their site, they had a Gluten Free menu. When I placed my order, I deliberately asked if they had gluten-free bread and could substitute it in the muffuletta.I was told they did. So I placed my order. I declined my receipt, it's usually a waste of paper and I just have to throw it away later. I joined my friends at the table and waited. And waited. My friends, knowing I have health problems, began to ask on my behalf. We waited some more. My friends finished their meal. And we waited.Turned out, they packed my order as delivery and sent it off with a delivery driver. Since I don't have my receipt, they apparently had no record of my order and can only offer me a gift card. Fine. I reorder, stressing once again that I NEED GLUTEN FREE. I have Celiac Disease, though I can usually handle a little cross-contamination.The order came out and the manager is trying to offer me a free strawberry cheesecake, which is not gluten-free according to the menu. (Despite there being stickers on my meal regarding dietary restrictions and warning of cross-contamination)The ham muffuletta wasn't great and the tomato basil soup disturbingly sweet. However, I was famished, so I ate. Big mistake. We left about 10pm and I got to spend the rest of my night violently sick from my body's immune response to gluten. My friends assured me that Jason's Deli is excellent, but I really can't trust this restaurant or chain now. I don't know if it was the Karen I heard freaking out over eggs and they took it out on me or if they thought I was being one. I gave the gift card to my friends. It'll be years before I can purge the memory of the gluten reaction and ultimately throwing up that muffuletta and tomato basil soup after it sat in my stomach since 10pm.Dietary restrictions: They do not honor any dietary restrictions, despite allegedly having menu options.

Friend's dine-in sandwich was put as to-go and handed off to a delivery driver after she was told it was "coming right out now." Apparently because she didn't request a receipt, they couldn't find her in "the system" and had her order it again. After a lengthy wait period, a tone-deaf gesture of presenting her a free strawberry shortcake when allergy/special dietary instructions were a part of her order. Jason's Deli in general is great. This particular location is not.
