Food is very tasty; however, beef fajitas are not really fajita meat but strips if beef. Nevertheless they the strips were very tasty. It is l little pricey.

Friday evening Mesquite restaurant only had about 4-5 tables people eating there . ordered food to go back nachos Rodriquez menu shows it comes with beef, chicken , shrimp , and jalapenos and pico with lettuce and guacamole. Cost $16.00. My order DID NOT HAVE ANY SHRIMP AND JALAPENOS BUT THEY STILL CHARGED ME THE FULL PRICE.I see now why they weren't busy at all for a Friday evening. I will never eat from this place ever again. Management needs to get with kitchen staff and their cook and fix problem so that they are providing customers quality meals with all the food ingredients that are suppose to come with their meals as stated in their menu. ?????

Over charged!!! We had 3 dinners but receipt reflected 4. Then at the register she charged me $7 more for using credit card.. and I asked why she pointed to a sign that stated Mimuim charge $5.00 on Credit Card. Si I corrected my receipt and contacted my bank....Now on the Food!!!!I asked and she wrote down cheese enchiladas with cheese sauce, well I got chili sauce kinda like chili dog sauce, then the Refried Beans were Spoiled/Rotten .The Rice was good and so was the Can Coke.....

The food it’s okay, the service it’s fine the prices are not bad, but now lately they charge a 3.75 % service fee?The so you don’t have to leave tips to the server’s!No!The fee it’s actually a way for them to pay for the equipment that they use probably, Paylo it the name of the equipment that they use when you pay with card. This is just another way for them to make money or a way to pass to the consumer their cost of operation.Either way this is so bad and I’m not sure if I want to come back, I don’t mind giving tips to the people that serve me, but also a fee for the equipment?

Service is lacking. Our waitress stood around talking instead of coming over. She also brought our food out 10 mins apart and I'm pretty sure they gave me someone else's food and didn't want to admit the mistake so never returned to the table.

Food was great for everyone except for my wife's beef steak tacos. They were move like jerky. The place wasn't very busy for the number of servers, but the waitresses didn't seem to interested in making sure customers were served and seemed annoyed to be asked for napkins and a drink refill after we waited an hour for the food to come out. Most of our drinks were empty for quite some time, but we still had to flag down the waitress to get a refill.

We walked in with a party of 18. Don Roberto took real good care of us and no problem with our service. Thanks Rodriguez.

Authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. The caldo de res is the best in the area.

The food here is amazing and more people should try it out.

Horrible! Rice was hard from being old, meat in the fajitas was not chewable, beans were old, chicken in the tacos did not taste like chicken, guacamole had no flavor, Margaritas we watered down, did not get a glass of water with our meal . Spent $75 just to go home and spend the next two hours vomiting. Spent the weekend in bed from food poisoning.

Although the food was good, part of the order was brought 15 minutes after the rest of the food, and the drink refills must have been coming from Mexico as we waited on those also.

For a small single restaurant sandwiched between a cell phone store and a title loan shop, Rodriguez Mexican Grill is a very unassuming little restaurant. Once inside the decor is normal Mexican food place. The food tho... That's not your normal tex-mex experience. The food is really good. I've been twice at the time of this review and i will be going back often and soon. So far I've had two dishes both featuring chicken. The first was "Pollo en Queso". A really good chicken breast smothered in cheese and sitting on top of a bed of grilled onions. I know there was cheddar cheese involved, and I suspect there's another type of cheese in there but I cannot put my finger on it. The second was off the lunch menu and called "Pechuga en Comal". This one was a nice lunch sized chicken breast very similarly smothered in chesses and also sitting on a bed of grilled onions. Very close to the first dish, but different enough that i didn't feel i was eating the same thing. Rodriguez had offerings ranging from different "Caldos" to varying combinations of crispy tacos to enchiladas. Everything smells wonderful and I would imagine the aroma is just a teaser for great dishes waiting to be served. (Next time I'm there I'll make sure to take pictures.)
