Sunday afternoon we went there no waiting time the salsa and chips were good. Flautas were extra crispy... super caldo seafood and shrimp cocktail and a chile relleno with rice and beans. I was given a spoon full of rice with my refried beans.
This is our new spot. The service was excellent! Very attentive! The fajita beef street tacos are on point! We love flautist and they were so good! They brought us fresh homemade flour tortillas to the table with butterOMG my weakness! My Don asked them to make Ranch Water.. Cazadores Tequila, Topo Chico and lime! Refreshing! We are new to Mesquite and very picky when it comes to Mexican food! They did not disappoint! We will be back!

For a small single restaurant sandwiched between a cell phone store and a title loan shop, Rodriguez Mexican Grill is a very unassuming little restaurant. Once inside the decor is normal Mexican food place. The food tho... That's not your normal tex-mex experience. The food is really good. I've been twice at the time of this review and i will be going back often and soon. So far I've had two dishes both featuring chicken. The first was "Pollo en Queso".
