Not very authentic. Food was a bit salty and they skimp on meat. My ettouffe came in a huge cup (I ended up splitting it) only to find about ten crawfish in it. The shrimp poboy was equally short on meat.

I expected more from previous reviews. The best thing there is fried catfish and fried shrimp. All of the sides have a weird taste... like the same seasoning/herb was used to jazz it up. If I ever go back, I will only order the fried catfish.FYI-We had the fried redfish, fried catfish, fried shrimp, fried oysters (with so much batter it looked like a chicken drummette), fries, Jambalaya rice (the worst!), hush puppies, and beans and rice.

I've gone to the one down HWY plenty of times over the decade and was excited when they moved closer to the FBtoll but never got a chance until now. For a family of 5 this is perfect family pack to hit everyone's needs. Definitely will be my go to order, maybe more shrimp as those were my favorite. Battered on fish is fired hard but fish is still moist. I wish the skin wasn't so hard verses crispy I would rate 5 stars.
