“The schnitzel and spaetzle are DELICIOUS here. Consistently good. The owner was also very accommodating also about us bringing a pup we are babysitting out onto the patio on our most recent visit. We are new to the area and delighted to discover a great local business.Update 4 years later: still delicious. I can't speak highly enough about the quality of the food here. Tried the weisswurst this evening. Packed with flavor on a crisp fresh bun. The dill spätzle is still my favorite. It's an unassuming spot, this place, but give it a shot.“
“Oh my god, after somehow stumbling upon and then watching an entire documentary about doner kebab's I could not wait for a location like this to show up. I was SUPER pumped to see one in Sugar Land, so we had to go try it out.My wife and I immediately thought the Boss Box was the best deal because you got so much stuff with it. It was $18, but you got your choice of one of four french fry flavors, you then got your choice of I believe 5 types of main doner kebab dishes, one of two appetizers (I got the jalepeno popper and my wife got the spring rolls, both were yum city) and a drink!I went with the original doner kebab as I wanted my experience to be that of how the Doner Gods would have wanted it.And my god, that Original was PACKED with finely sliced halal meat. I got the mixed meat option as I couldn't decide on chicken or beef. That was a good choice. Also the box came with 3 sauces, one was like a dill mayo, one was garlic.. mayo? and the third was like a cocktail sauce or something. Best one was garlic though.The fries were hearty and excellent. Very crisp and had good flavor. I got the flame fries and my wife got the curry ones. The flame ones weren't too spicy and the curry ones, to their name, tasted like curry.The place was clean and the staff were nice but seemed bored as we were the only ones there. I felt bad because I want this place to be busy enough to survive but not too busy where I can't find a spot. So please, go there, but not like between 11:37am and 12:13pm on Saturdays.5/5, would doner here again.“
“Get ready for an amazing birthday experience!My son suggested this spot after he visited with a friend, and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the host who let us pick our own setting. The service was top-notch, and our waitress, Alexa, and a young gentleman, a name we didn't get, was incredible. She brought us our menus with an additional special and took our drinks order, and when I tell you their Arnold Palmer was the best I've ever had, you better believe it was fresh! They both stayed on top in making sure we received refills without even asking.What really stood out to me was the polite and courteous way the waitress took our order. She started off by asking me, "Ma'am, what would you like?" Then my daughter, "Young lady, what would you like?" Then my husband, "Sir, what would you like?" And last but not least, my son, "Young gentlemen, what would you like?" It was such a lovely touch that added to the overall experience.While we waited for our food, we had a blast playing cards and UNO with the games available on the table. And when our food arrived, it was a sight to behold! We ordered 6 honey-spicy Buffalo wings, a blackened boudin link, a double bacon cheeseburger, and a Texas brisket short rib wagyu beef burger, and let me tell you, it was all bussen! We had to take a doggy bag home, and we even got some of their special honey-spicy Buffalo sauce to go.The atmosphere is relaxed and has a fantastic family vibe.
