Superb Kerala cuisine.We got the non-veg thali, veg stew, palappam, chicken curry, parotta, mathi(sardines) fry. Everything was fantastic. Felt like I was back in Kochi. Not to mention, very friendly folks running this gem of a joint.Not sure why this isn't rated 5 star on Google, but if you know what authentic Kerala cuisine is, don't hesitate to eat here.
We heard of this restaurant from our friend in Dallas and thought we would check it out as we’re not very satisfied with the Kerala restaurants around here...Thanima is a quaint restaurant, very neat and friendly owners who also are the ones who run the show- from cooking to serving customers (due to COVID now I guess).On our first visit, we had meals, chicken biryani, Porotta and beef fry; we were mind blown by the authenticity of the food.... Excellent food! Was craving for authentic food from Kerala and this place delivered!! We ordered, fish curry, chicken curry, meals, appam, parotta and vegetable stew. Loved all of it but my personal fav was the appam!! The best I've had. Tasted like homemade! I also loved how courteous and lovely the guy at the counter was.
