Tried to go to this place twice on a weekend! Both times they were close for a private event! That should be better communicated in their website or posted in google hours. Drove an hour to get here only to find out they're closed!!! So disappointing and never will go back. Seafood City and To Go Cafe is close enough if you want Filipino food!!!

Oh that pata was so delicious. This dish was recommended to us by the shop owner. No disappointment here. Crispy exterior and moist and juicy on the inside. Don't let me get started on that dipping sauce. That sauce just highlighted that scrumptious pork knuckle. It was so good we went back and ordered again. New owner and better food.

They just reopened. We ordered Dinuguan and Bicol Express. They were flavorful and serving size was good as well.

My mom and I were visiting from Fort Worth, where there’s no Filipino restaurants (they’re all out toward Dallas or Arlington). So we were super excited when we saw this right across the street from our hotel. The food was great! I got the grilled pork belly and my mom got the bistek. We loved both. My favorite was their suka sawsawan though. We even tried to get the owner to tell us what was in their’s lol.I loved that the menu wasn’t too big. It’s got a lot of Filipino classics, but it wouldn’t be too overwhelming for first-timers to Filipino food. We even ended up going the next morning for the Silog breakfast plates.

PINOY GOURMET IS NOW OPEN!!!! They are currently under new management and the vibes and food are still AMAZING!!! Highly recommend to anyone that is in the Sugarland/Missouri City area to stop by! The quality of the food is still incredible and they have added new items to the menu so excited to comeback and try more! We ordered the sweet and sour fish, this was our favorite it was light and crispy and the sauce was the perfect thickness and the Veggie topping was still crisp. We also ordered the kare-kare, the beef was nice and tender and the sauce wasn't too thick.

Food is good, tastes like home cooked. Service is topnotch, as soon as I walked in the restaurant, I was greeted and welcomed by friendly staff. The place is very nice and the mural on the wall brings back so many memories back in the Philippines. I will definitely be coming back.

This Filipino restaurant offers an authentic culinary experience, capturing the rich flavors of Filipino cuisine. From savory kare-kare to crispy lechon, each dish showcases a perfect balance of spices and textures. Don't miss their buko pandan for a delightful sweet ending. Highly recommended for those seeking a taste of the Philippines.

Attended an event at Pinoy Gourmet. Chicken Lollipop was so crunchy and delicious! The sisig is to die for, and the mural on the wall is so cute! The young ladies working at the counter were so friendly and inviting. The only downfall is that the restaurant is a little too small and can get crowded easily. But, the food is great and the vibes are immaculate!
