The steak and soup and salad bar was amazing but I got fried squash and steamed vegetables. Very disappointed in the steamed vegetables they tasted like they came out of a can. And my fried squash was cold. But I would go back and get a steak with just the salad bar. Two Cowboy steaks with an appetizer and drinks around $65Kid-friendliness: There were kids when I visited and there was no issues.
Let's be honest here, if you're looking for Cordon Bleu food, this is not it. What this is is an honest, simple, country steakhouse. The meat was good, well seasoned, and cooked to order. The sides are varied and were quite good. The salad bar is actually amazing. Would I come here again? Absolutely.

Slow. Sad 70’s decor could use a bit of 21st century updating. The fried catfish was really good. The top sirloin was large in plate coverage, but looked more like flank steak and flavor was disappointing. Now the mashed potatoes- they were SO good!! I would go back if only for the tea- which is always good in Texas and those mashed potatoes. I must of needed a hug. ?
