“First time there and the food was plentiful and delicious. Its these best boil we have had in a long time. wife and I are always searching for the best places to get some good mud bugs and they were truly tops on the food! Spicy mix was awsome! shrimp and crab were great too! simple and laid back. very pleasant dining experience! will definitely be back and recommend to everyone we know!”
“Yesterday was a difficult day as we laid out precious Aunt Mary to rest. We had a reservation at 1:00 for over 50 people at the Bradford Cafe but the service ended much earlier than expected and we had about 50 very hot people wondering what we were going to do for the next hour and a half! The Bradford Cafe was more than happy to accommodate and take us right away. It was less than 1 minute away from the grave site and they were set up and ready when we got there. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a basket of onion rings as an appetizer (because who can resist crispy hot onion rings?!) and I offered a taste to the family seated at the table with me. I ran out to my car to get something and when I came back my basket was empty and they had ordered 3 more baskets for the table! Needless to say they were phenomenal. We are so very grateful for the kindness that filled our hearts and the wonderful food that filled our bellies at the Bradford Cafe. We can’t wait to come back again!”
“I'm not a fan of Greek food but other members of my multi-generational home are and we drove 35 miles to eat here. The restaurant was squeaky clean and the man behind the counter (the owner?) was super nice and helpful to me. I chose a sandwich and he explained it and helped me choose what to put on it. I'm still not a fan of Greek food but the rest of my people absolutely loved it, hence my rating. We will be going back, I'm sure, and I will be eating baklava.”
“Every time we go through Palestine we have to stop a get a slice of pie. The crust is better than any other place you have been. Do take notice of the hours and know that after the holiday madness they take a well deserved vacation. Worth a trip!”
“this is the BEST donut shop!! Service, food, and people are the best!! They have the most unique donuts and they’re delicious every time!! The iced white mocha latte is the best too!”
“Their BBQ is phenomenal. My husband got a plate that was loaded down. I got a loaded baked potato both times I have been and both times the potato was enormous and the brisket on top was so juicy. ? Chef's kiss ?!”
“The food here is the best in Palestine. These people that own this know how to cook up great food. Even when the deliver your food it’s fast and fresh and hot. So worth the price you pay.”
“If you like great beer, you MUST stop. If you like a cute, cozy, rustic atmosphere, again, STOP. If you're also into fantastic food and great conversation, this is your place. You won't be disappointed. Chris, Devon, Rachel, and Jenn were all on top of their game, amazing service. It was our first time stopping and our expectations were about that what you can expect from small town Texas, but prepare for those expectations to get smoked just like ours.Wow! We're so happy we made time for this!”
“Food was delicious. I had the spinach stuffed salmon and chocolate cake for dessert. Staff was friendly and attentive.Kid-friendliness: I have grandchildren and the owner and staff are quite friendly with them. Restaurant is somewhat fancy, but dress is very casual.”
“We came here for the first time and we loved it. The pupusas were so good!!! Everything made fresh and hot. We had a plate of fried yucca that was delicious! The salsa had such great flavor. The ladies that work here were so friendly and inviting. The restaurant is super clean! Will definitely be coming back.”
“It was a really pleasant place to sit outside & eat Crawfish & Froglegs. Very tasty. Everyone was very nice & checked on us plenty. We'll definitely go back.Kid-friendliness: It has a small enclose play area for children.”
“Super easy to order with two drive through windows. They had a big selection of sugar free flavors and some pretty good holiday drinks! I ordered a Large ice coffee with two flavors for less than $6 and it was AMAZING!”
“Went by here for lunch while traveling for work. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I had the alligator sausage and fries. I will be back anytime I am in the area for sure.”
“Exceptional in every way. Out of this world food with varying specialty items included on the menu. NYC style menu items that are fresher and better than those people cramped up in that dirty old city ever get. Every aspect of my dining experience was perfect. Generous servings. Moderate pricing. Excellent quality. Top notch service. As good as it gets anywhere anytime. Love itParking: Private parking lot. Well lit. Felt safe.Kid-friendliness: High chairs. Children's menu. Most Texas people enjoy seeing the families dining together.Wheelchair accessibility: Not perfect but close enough.”
“Still the best Tex-Mex in East Texas. The service is always great, but because of its popularity, it's like dining in a high school cafeteria. Takeaway is the answer...”
“I got a shrimp stir fry and red velvet cake+cheesecakeParking: It has like a circle drive in the food truck park market, but there is parking spaces available nearby in the closed donut Palace”
“My first experience here was the one I’m going with! I’ve been here twice, once on a warm afternoon: the food was amazing! ? they traded some laughs with me I paid for my food and went my way. The second time was today, y’all were just as ready to get to the house as u was ? (forgot my sauce)”
“This is truly Texas. The food is top-notch delicious, and the staff treats everyone like family. Only open weekends, but fortunately, they also sell take-out by the pound.”

“They have, by far, the best, most authentic Italian in the area. Relatively small portions but the quality more than compensates. You don't come out overstuffed. I had a small dinner salad, perfection. Baby greens, lightly dressed in a subtle vinaigrette. My husband had an app of toasted garlic bread, again faultless. My entree of fettuccine alfredo was REAL. Chewy toothsome pasta with butter and parmesan, not some canned cream cheese sauce. Topped with fresh, moist, grilled chicken breast. Husband had brisket grilled cheese, not Italian (he is), but he enjoyed it. Topped all off with a generous shareable portion of very good tiramisu. Two apps, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and a shared dessert, under 60 dollars. In today's world, a value, considering the quality, a bargain. They have fixed their former missile-test-sight parking lot, so access is easier. I wish they were closer, but frankly I'm glad they are 30+ miles from our home. Or I'd eat there all the time.”
“Came in for the first time and enjoyed the sopes with fajita meat... I ordered the molcajete and I was full...Jackie was friendly and kept my coffee ☕ full .. nice small business family owned.”
“Emily is the bartender to see, if your hungry she can direct you in the right direction for your hunger needs! This place is no joke when it comes to your taste buds you might want to listen to this woman's magic as she's had most on the menu I couldn't help to ask more questions...only to find the best Burger in Texas is right here!”
“Ok , this is a seafood place and a pretty darn good one . They have it all and many combinations . If you been going to Wades or Catch Me if you can they are both good but if you don’t wanna long drive this place easily fits the bill and at very good prices . I’ve been here 3 times in the last month and it’s been very good every time . Shrimp , fish , scallops, boiled or fried it’s good and fresh .”
“This place is a must stop on your road trip or every day lunch break!! We were passing through and always look for the best restaurants to stretch our legs. We stoped in with a boat (there was plenty of parking for trailers) had fast friendly service and to top it all off the food was great and TEXAS SIZE portions!”
“My husband and I have been twice and have had great experiences both times. My husband said their Street Tacos are the best he's ever had. He's not much for Salsa and chips but he loved theirs and ate 2 bowls of salsa. I had tortilla soup theirs was a little different than any I've eaten before but I have no complaints. Their prices are a little high but you definitely get your money's worth. They give big portions and both times I had plenty of soup to bring home for later. We will definitely keep going back.”
“This restaurant is great. Family atmosphere, wonderful service and homemade cooking. I love the family. Michael and Alma are so dedicated to their customers. I eat in and occasionally drive thru.Vegetarian options: They prepare your dish with your requests and specific dietary preferences. They do not mind at all. Lovely people.Parking: Easy”
