“We went on a really busy night. The food was okay. The menu has lots of variety. We ordered the nightly special. The cocktails are top-notch. It just took a really long time to get anything. One hour for our appetizers. By the time the food got there we had been there almost 2 hours.“

“Take out. Fried catfish very tasty as were the fries although the seasoning isn't my favorite. The salad was the downer. It is a great size, but the greens were old they even smelled old when I opened the container. Don't know how they didn't know that while handling the greens. Maybe they make them ahead of time and this one has been around too long.“

“This establishment is "EXCELLENT".....I have been there 5 times, each time on business this year, every time we come to Allen, usually every other month.....My son and the rest of our group have been here close to 20 times. Our 1st time there we sat in the bar, the young lady suggested you can also eat in there as well well order from the bar. We took her advice and never looked back.....Our waiter the 1st time was Mike...This guy is 2nd to None!!!......Made many suggestions, which were great, and we ordered. The food & drinks were Excellent!...Next time, there were about 20 of us at 2-3 tables, again, we had Mike for our waiter.....he did have a little help which is normal for the size of the group. He took care of All our needs, just Perfect!...He is the 'GOLD' standard what waiter's, hosts, and servers should be or anybody in this type of business!.......The restaurant has been very clean too, including the outside areas, restrooms and parking lot!...Never a problem at this fine establishment!......I am very critical on my revues too, as I was a recent retired state & government contractor inspector!....The employee, Mr. Mike, He is absolutely Great!....He is what you would call a J.O.A.T. "Jack of All Trades"..........Please, Other employees or people in this type of business,....."Read & Heed".......Hats Off to a "5 STAR" establishment!!!!!“

“Me & Wifey went for the 1st time bout a month ago. The original wings and the sweet potato fries are pretty good. The highlight for us tho are the drinks they are strong and good kool place to go if you wanna just chill and have a few drinks“

“This is my home bar. Been going here since 2008. They have great daily specials - $5 for 1/2lb burger on Mondays and get THIS: Tuesday is 2.50 domestic bottles, 16oz drafts, 1/4lb burgers! You can’t beat that anywhere! The service is usually great, even when busy. Shuffleboard tourneys Thursday and Saturday. Karaoke on Tuesday night and the weekends. AMI jukebox you can use an app for. Lots of bar seating and you can smoke inside. Add a few game machines, a couple pool tables and darts - you’ve got the best backroads bar in the county. Crockpot Sundays for NFL watches. “Stopped by to grab a drink and the atmosphere was so fun and festive for Halloween! I regret forgetting the name of our bartender/ server, but he was great! I was looking for a cider and he made an excellent recommendation for a pear/ Prosecco tasting cider that I enjoyed! Rare to find these! My husband enjoyed his cocktail and we shared some fries. Could tell they were freshly made! Thank you!“

“About maybe 13-15 years ago I came here from England after seeing a friend in Dallas. Some dude walked in with a guitar, got on stage, asked if there were any musicians in the audience and eventually put together 4-5 other people who, after speaking for perhaps 10 minutes, played the most incredible, Pink Floyd / Blues music I’d ever heard. I was blown away. As the guy left later that night, I asked what his name was and he said “Buck.” And he signed me a Dollar that said “thanks for coming to listen to Texas Blues” and I’ve only just found that Dollar, that’s why I’m writing this review now. But I never forgot that night. I asked how it was possible that strangers could play the best blues music after just a few minutes of talking and he said “we just agreed to play in the key of C”. As a non musician, that stuck with me. Now I play guitar and it’s all thanks to Buck. So, wherever you are, buddy. You’re remembered fondly by an English dude who met you over a decade ago.“
