My wife and I frequent Roma's and really enjoy it. Alban and his crew give excellent service and are anxious to please. We really enjoy the veal dishes, especially the one with the brandy sauce. The building, from the early 1900's has been beautifully restored and is great inside and on the patio.

Well my pizza was amazing the seafood my cousins shrimp Alfredo was delicious for her and great and the sink is beautiful in gold and the soap smells great the cake was good my cousin said her cheesecake was delicious so go down there and try it

We totally understand that when businesses start there is a period of working out the kinks.That being said- our first visit one week ago was very positive. We ordered the Rigatoni Special and the Baked Ziti along with a house salad. The atmosphere, our server, and the food was very good. We would definitely order the same dishes again.Today we ordered a pepperoni pizza which was disappointing. Very minimal sauce and cheese and lacking flavor. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the pizza.We love that downtown is growing and that businesses are coming so we hope this can help shed light on these hiccups faced when opening a new restaurant.

This place is a hidden treasure in Nacogdoches. I've been twice and both times the food was delicious and the wait staff outstanding. If you decide to eat here in good weather, consider being seated on the patio, you won't be disappointed. They have made it into a very intimate outdoor setting with plants and a water fountain.

Such a charming new Restaurant that we finally got to try...Despite some recent criticisms,Our experience at this Roma's location was nothing but exceptional. While every new restaurant may have its days, I found the food to be carefully prepared, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful attention to detail evident in every dish. The Owner Alban and the entire staff were very attentive and helpful. We loved the craft cocktails that they served us.I urge anyone who may have been skeptical by recent reviews to give this restaurant another try – you won't be disappointed. We can't wait to be back!

We have tried this place twice now just to make sure we did not hit a bad day. The food just seemed like it was reheated from frozen except for the bread. The bread is vary good. It is pricey for what you get.

I would give it a review, but never got seated. Walked in around 2, hardly anyone there. Waited by the hostess station. There were four employees, not one even acknowledged that we were there. Wait staff, and I guess someone that work there, walked up the hostess station, saw us, didn't say anything, then walked away. So we left and walked over to Dolli's Diner, where we got greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door, with the over half the restaurant full.

For 2 adults and 2 kids, it cost us $100!The meatball sub does not come with meatballs, and the bread is toasted and hard to eat.As my son said, "The pizza tastes like cauliflower crust." He did not eat much of it, and he loves pizza!My daughter had the steak, and it had more fat on it than meat. She asked for medium rare, and they did that, but there was ZERO flavor.My wife had the Veal, and it also lacked any flavor. As a matter of fact, the sauce looked like glue paste.The inside tables are way too close together. Looks like they are trying to make money instead of caring about the customer experience.We called this experience a one and done. We can't justify paying $100 for 4 people for mid level food that lacks taste and looks like glue paste.Parking: Parking is a nightmare. You park on the street or next to the visitors center.
Me and my husband came to eat here for the first time on Valentine’s Day and I really wish we didn’t. Of course I know it’s a busy day but regardless it was an awful experience. There was no host (not sure why but something happened from what we heard) so nobody greeted us. Not one single person. There was a small line and yet they weren’t taking any names when we arrived so we had to wait outside in the cold for a good half hour due to their lack of customer service. While we waited for a table for over an hour it was quite frustrating when we saw a few tables sit dirty for 10-15 mins while there were people waiting to sit down and eat and standing in the cold. When we finally got seated, our server was nice but he forgot our drinks for a good twenty mins until my husband finally asked about them. We didn’t receive them until after our dinner came out. My food was luke warm if that and so after eating it for a few mins it was cold. I didn’t even say anything which I should have but at that point we were so ready to just leave honestly. We will give this restaurant another try at another time and understand that during holidays it’s busy and can be hectic but regardless, it was not a good experience and I think there’s a lot of room for improvement.

We were very pleasantly surprised at this place. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the people were friendly.Our only suggestion for improvement is that, if you are going to offer draft beer, actually have it in stock.Overall though, we greatly enjoyed it and will be back.
