Love this place. Whenever I am downtown I always stop in for a beer and good service. Lots of live music and I always run into someone I know. Great courtyard to hangout in when the weather is great.
If you want to have a great time in New Braunfels, you need to go into Moonshine & Ale on their dueling piano night. Be prepared for it to be packed, but great atmosphere and music. Where else can you get Metallica to Taylor Swift all played within a few songs of each other. The crowd was feeling that set. It was fun to see the older and younger crowd feeling each other's music. Went here on a Sunday afternoon to meet friends. The server was very nice and made good drinks. We sat outside. I had no idea this plane had an outside! It was a cute little area to the side of the bar. Nothing fancy just a few circle tables & chairs. They also had lawn games. Nice chill, quiet spot for a Sunday afternoon gathering.
