“Came in from out of town to visit this Legendary Place in New Braunfels, TX. The Burgers were absolutely magnificent. I don't normally eat fries, but sampled some Tater Tots. I also has the salad, and it was wonderful, too! I just wish I had a bigger appetite to try everything, but this establishment differentiates its products by having a beef & pork patty, which adds a wonderful dimension of flavor to the food. The restaurant also has an excellent, well-curated beer selection. Will definitely return!Vegetarian options: There is the veggies & pickle dip option if you don't want fries or Tater Tots. The pickle dip is really good!“
“The avocado curry is the best thing in the entire freaking world. I wish I lived closer and could eat it all the time. The staff is always so nice and hospitable to our insanely large group of friends when we visit. Love this place so much.“
“Shared the Alfredo Fettuccine with my granddaughter and it was delicious! (As always!) Salad and breadsticks were very tasty and made this a complete meal! My younger granddaughter ate Mac and cheese and played games on the game board there and was content the entire meal Very nice evening with my 2 Gurkha!“
“Went to Roost the other day on a recommendation and have been thinking about it ever since. I got the Madilyn's Chicken Salad on Sourdough and almost died from how good it was. The bread was griddled in butter- perfectly crispy and uniform. The chicken salad was amazing too-the earthiness of the macadamia was complimented so nicely with a pop of sweetness from the pineapple. I graciously offered a bite to my grandfather and fiancé and they both really liked it as well. The staff was amazing too. I'm gonna get their names wrong but I think it was Brooklyn and Kindal? Great personalities and they helped me pay for lunch when my grandpa tried to box me out at the register. Not happenin' grandpa!Jokes aside- I was not expecting such high quality food in the middle of my day. Totally pulled me out of autopilot for a second. One of the best meals I've ever had and will happily go back next time I'm in town.“
“We visited for the first time today and we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything is! I got Olivia's old south on wheat bread and my husband got the Cranberry Kelli on a croissant. Both were absolutely delicious! The fruit salad was also fresh and delicious. The service was top notch and everyone working was so nice and helpful. The vibe of the restaurant was akin to having lunch at grandmas house! We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!“
“My husband and I had our first Marcos pizza a couple of days ago. First, Eva, was so pleasant & very friendly. Our pizza was delicious! The manager was also very nice & pleasant. We were so impressed by staff & the pizza, I wanted to thank them for such a wonderful lunch & a welcoming reception. We will be back!!“
“We love Las Palapas in New Braunfels. We always have a great time here. The service is always very good and very friendly. The margaritas are huge and they have a large variety. I really like the fajitas and nachos here. The food is affordable and not so outrageous. The waitresses are so very nice and always very helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends.“
“I love this place. I've honestly never had any issues, but I only ever order pick up or to go. However, please retrain your crew members on basic food handling procedures and what not to do behind the counter. Like the blonde girl with the long hair letting her hair down and messing with it to put it back up. And then not going to wash her hands. For one, that shouldn't be done in kitchen area. That's done in the restroom. Second, WASH YOUR HANDS. I don't care if you're just packing up delivery orders and taking them out. Or the employees eating brownies behind the counter in full view of everyone and grabbing their legs and touching their faces. Aren't you all supposed to have food handler certificates?“
“Always the best!!!Dietary restrictions: Fries are safe for gluten-free and nut-free. They are cooked in canola oil. Grilled chicken sandwich can be converted to a lettuce wrap. No gluten-free buns are available. All fried chicken is not gluten-free and is cooked in peanut oil.“
“This is seriously one of the best out there..Went today @ lunch and OMG it was extremely packed for it was the day after Easter and no school everyone and there mother was there lol..However they were doing a great job in directing traffic as I was trying to find a parking space as I walked in there was a very long line but every employee had a rythem going they had a smile on their face and were working really hard..This is great customer service..The food is I'm gonna say with one word QUALITY..I wanna say a special thank you to Jerry he is so nice, and a very hard worker..Good job to this location. It was my first time but definitely not my last..Kudos to management and to all the employees who worked today..“
“The place had a an obviously long line with multiple trailers trying to get in. We though about going in and dining but opted to get take out. We got very basic tacos as the previous reviews are not good. My taco was decent, very basic (bacon bean and cheese) and my partners was (bacon, egg, and cheese). They clearly need help or more staff. The sign is out front, the drive thru is overwhelming the parking lot, and the young lady on the cash register is just learning the cashier system. She was pleasant enough. It was a okay place but nothing to brag about or have a desire to come back. The tacos could use some better quality items, the dine in area can be more inviting, and the previous reviews could be better than what they are now with some improvements.“
“I go for the liver and onions served once a month! When you don't have a kitchen you want to have those goodies you grew up with. Service is always good and the servers pleasant. I've gone there on dates, and had the steak which is great also. The best thing is this is a fund raiser for the Elks, so your money spent goes to a good cause, and not to make someone rich enough to buy that Land Rover to go with their tricked out dually. Last time I went, a very nice person asked me to join she and her mother. What a kind thing to do!! We had a long chat about this and that, and apparently they knew every one in town. I've seen lots of hugging among the guests and staff, so that tells you something, doesn't it? Good food, good service, and it benefits a good cause.“
“Consistently delicious. Spinach artichoke dip what is awesome, as well as the Mushroom soup, bistro Burger, buttermilk fried Chicken jalapeno gravy. Ice-T was clear clean and crisp. They were very busy still service was excellent.Restroom was tidy. We'll be back again.“
