“Every time I take donuts or kolaches to my colleagues, they always ask where they're from. These people take pride in their skills and are always so kind. I go in for donuts around 0550, and they always give me a fresh batch. They pretty much melt in your mouth. They are also very affordable, with a dozen donuts running at just $7.00. I have gone to other places where the dozen costs twice as much. When I take my daughter for donuts to a shop closer to her school, she always spends close to $10.00. Here, she gets more things for just $5.00. Please visit my friends! Their donuts are incomparable to Shipley's or Dunkin' . They're delicious!“
“Whenever I passed by this place in the mornings, it would be busy so I wanted to try it out for myself and since then, this has been my go-to for croissant sandwiches and kolaches. They are so friendly and welcoming plus there’s a spacious area to sit down. Their food taste fresh everytime, I can’t recommend them enough. Just a tip— there’s another exit/entrance behind this business on Allen Genoa, so if you’re having trouble exiting back onto Shaver St., I would go through the back side. I know that part of Shaver St. gets hectic during weekdays with the high school across the street.“
“I've never had a poor experience here. It's always very clean. My food tastes fresh unlike most. It's never a long wait and quick, courteous people behind the counter. Def recommend! It's hard to find a breakfast place that's not 100% pork so this it my spot!“
“Oh my gosh, I could not say a bad thing about Texas Donuts! Niri ( I hope I spelled it right) and her husband are amazing. I love the spinach and feta thingy they have ( not sure what its actually called, lol.) The ham and swiss roll is so good. I love that they cute up the ham and its not just a solid piece. They have brisket, boudin, regular sausage and cheese, jalapeno sausage and cheese kolaches, and much more. The iced coffee is pretty good. If you have not checked out this place, then you need too! Thank you guys for serving the Pasadena community! And remember, this is a mom and pop shop, so the price may be very different then a big chain donut shop. Shopping local and supporting a small business will not always be cost effective. I have no problem paying their prices in comparison to Dunkin Donuts, I'd rather give Texas Donut Houses my business. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES.“
“The staff is friendly and the quality of the food has improved lately! My favorite items to get are their glaze donuts, jalapeño kolaches or their sausage croissant, with a coffee, they offer both iced and hot which I love because I'm not always in a mood for a hot coffee. ?“
“Tried four different types of kolaches: potato & cheese, bacon, bacon & sausage and sausage. Great tasting! Also tasted the apple fritter. Loved it! It wasn't greasy and was cooked perfectly. I definitely will go back. The owner was very nice and helpful.“
“I’ve been going here before work I spend less than Starbucks or McDonald’s and the food is so good! The service is always fast and friendly! Highly recommend!Parking: Plenty of space to parkKid-friendliness: Lots of kids friendly options including mini kolaches! Orange juice and flavored milks“
“This place has become a favorite of mine recently. I decided to stop here one day because it’s close to my job. The donuts are amazing, kolaches/croissants are delicious, and the staff is always super nice and friendly. I’d you ever drive on 225 in Pasadena make sure you stop here!!!“
“The BEST iced coffee (with an extra espresso shot) that I've EVER had! The staff is always happy and helpful. The establishment is family owned, so if you want to help out our small businesses this is the place to go. I love it! The iced coffee has me hooked.“
“I was in need of a doughnut fix and this is where I landed. Not too bad of a doughnut, but very similar to KK. Not a fan of the drive thru situation in the back of the building, but good customer service and they threw in half a dozen doughnut holes for free.“
“I love coming here. The lady that runs it is very sweet, and often gives me an extra donut or a couple donut holes free of charge. Not a big fan of the boudin, but everything else is super. I really recommend the iced tai coffee. super sweet, super strong. (I think it was tai coffee? might have been a different name, but it is the coffee.)“
“This location has gone downhill. How are you gonna run out of Kolaches at 7:40am? I asked to fry a fresh plain donut for my mother because she can't have glaze, and the woman taking my order got an attitude about it. I still got donuts for my family because they are happy with the food quality. Please do better. Thank “
“Ordered from here and got spicy boudin kolache and let me tell you it was worth it! It had a very generous amount of filling instead of it being mostly bread and the taste was delicious! The bread is sweet contrasting the mild spice of the boudin it pairs perfectly!“
