When the food arrived, it was still HOT and it tasted as if it was literally made when I ordered it. The Pupusas revueltas were good, but the chicharron con queso were even better. My favorite dish though was the chicken tamal. It's hard for me to find a good salvi tamal that tastes fresh and delicious. I've tried a ton of different restaurants so I can definitely taste when they've been thawed and reheated. That was not the case with this place. FRESH! FRESH! FRESH! I'm bookmarking this location lol“

Looking for a good place to eat pupusas in Pasadena I found this one. Entering the place, the waitress greets us with a friendly smile, first point in favor, she shows us the menu and suggests the most popular, obviously Pupusas, my husband asks her if she could make a change to the pupusa and she immediately replied that Yes, second point in favor. He ordered a cheese with chicharrón and jalapeño, DELICIOUS! We ate some banana empanadas for dessert, with a bit of cream and honey that I asked for in addition. Last plus point.Without a doubt this is one of the better restaurants here in Pasadena. The excellent attention, the food of 10 and the very relaxed atmosphere. “I can say that I loved everything except the shrimp pupusas. I think that the shrimp is stewed with tomato so that it adds flavor. I ate them in El Salvador but they only add the very simple and flavorless shrimp, hence the bean and cheese ones are all delicious? chicharrón the chicken soup everything is delicious the horchata even though the staff is super friendly “
“My Carne Guisada plate was great, the flavor was excellent. I ordered a side of plátanos maduros which came with cheese, cooked to perfection. The servers were attentive and the establishment was clean, simple but clean. I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere due to when you walk in there is a smoking odor stuck in the air somehow but it didn’t bother me much. Will come back again if in the area.“
“I really like this plactakeoye off Freeport St. I have been going to this lady and her taco stand for a long time and she is not expensive like most places in Channelview also its full corn or flour tortilla and she doesn't charge extra for cheese . Momma is what I call her she is a great Spanish cook.. I was able to get 6 tacos meat and cheese for under $ 15. Feed 4 people .She is on the right hand side before Bonham St .“
“I was welcomed very kindly here and the restaurant is very clean inside . I didn’t realize they have Salvadorian food, which is an added bonus for me! I ordered the breakfast with fried plantains, eggs, beans, cheese, crema. I was soooo thrilled to see that the corn tortillas were home made too. I’m only disappointed that I waited so long to try this place out. The spinach pupusa was really good too!!“
“These are the best pupusas in Houston. My family love them and order them frequently. They are delicious especially the ones with cheese and chicken. They don't have as much flour as others and are filled with so much flavor. They always sell them freshly made and there is a guarantee that you will enjoy their pupusas. Thanks!“
“This is the restaurant of a hotel (you don't have to go through the hotel to get there and don't have to be a guest). The food was great - though if you order one of the soups, you shouldn't order anything else to eat (I made that mistake and was quite full afterward). The atmosphere was nice. Copán Ruinas' stadium is across the street.“
