“This is a small simple place that I found while looking at places to eat close to where I was working. I ordered a corn tamal. It's available steamed or fried and with cream. I opted for steamed and no cream. It was moist and not porous and dry like I've found in other places. I also got a loroco pupusa. It's big and served with curtido and had enough cheese. To drink I had a marañon agua fresca. It's really good. They also have Salvadoran style horchata. I took a star off because the walls are lined with shirts with images of the current El Salvador president Nayib Bukele. I mean it's fine if you want to sell a shirt or two but that was over the top. What if you went to a restaurant adorned with Biden t-shirts?“
“The prices are great, and the lady is so nice. I got to practice my Spanish at this packed eatery. The large pupusas come with Cole slaw and were prepared to order and taste great, and so much to eat! This clean restaurant is family friendly, all ages were here. They have a tv playing Latin pop videos at a good volume.I would come back! Enjoy!“
“Brunch has 1/2 price champagne bottles, with 3 different juice flavors( pomegranate, mango, orange) , so you can mix & match. I had Chilaquiles de Pollo en Salsa de Chile Guajillo (spicy). Two eggs over easy, shredded chicken, tortilla chips, salsa guajillo, avocado, garnished with queso fresco, sour cream, cilantro and served with black beans. 10/10 My guest had the Migas. Scrambled eggs cooked with tortilla chips, onions, bell peppers and melted cheddar cheese. Served with pinto beans and guacamole salad The service was amazing. Our waiter had all the ingredients Memorized all the ingredients & was helpful with allergy questions. We sat on the outdoor patio. I was an amazing day so weather was perfect. My guest unfortunately has a fear of birds, & they were definitely dropping down on the rails waiting for easy meals. It made her nervous. Other than that we had a wonderful amazing brunch. Don't miss out on delicious meals & great mimosas.“
“Ordered through DoorDash and saw that there would be an hour wait for delivery, I didn't care and ordered anyways. When the food arrived, it was still HOT and it tasted as if it was literally made when I ordered it. The Pupusas revueltas were good, but the chicharron con queso were even better. My favorite dish though was the chicken tamal. It's hard for me to find a good salvi tamal that tastes fresh and delicious. I've tried a ton of different restaurants so I can definitely taste when they've been thawed and reheated. That was not the case with this place. FRESH! FRESH! FRESH! I'm bookmarking this location lol“
“I've been Craving pupusas for a very long time & my Husband called me today as he was coming home from work on Hwy 6 & said he had a Surprise Happy Meal coming my way, haha & then he walks in with 4 Pupusas for our dinner. THIIS WILL DEFINITELY BE OUR "GO TO" PUPUSA PLACE FOR NOW ON!! ABUELITA DEFINITELY ROCKS HER FOOD TRUCK & HER PRICES ARE REASONABLE & MORE THAN WORTH IT!! BIEN PROVECHO y MUCHAS GRACIAS!!! P.S. the only thing that i wish they had was an online Menu showing their variety of food items“
“I always look at the reviews of the place I'm going to eat at, I read as many as possible.More when it comes to food and accommodation. Looking for a good place to eat pupusas in Pasadena I found this one. Entering the place, the waitress greets us with a friendly smile, first point in favor, she shows us the menu and suggests the most popular, obviously Pupusas, my husband asks her if she could make a change to the pupusa and she immediately replied that Yes, second point in favor. He ordered a cheese with chicharrón and jalapeño, DELICIOUS! We ate some banana empanadas for dessert, with a bit of cream and honey that I asked for in addition. Last plus point.Without a doubt this is one of the better restaurants here in Pasadena. The excellent attention, the food of 10 and the very relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Iris for all your attention.“
“100% white boy here- just for context. I'm obviously not the right person to take pupusa advice from, but if you're asking in general- like is the food good? Dudes and dudettes listen up or read up I guess.... get you a couple pork/ cheese and maybe a jalapeño/ cheese (if you got hair on your external or internal peaches). It will change your life. Ask for the green sauce.“
“Pupusas are excellent ? , cream filled empanadas are deliciously sweet, as well the plantain with beans and El salvadorian made and imported Sour Cream. They also do the rice maza! and the corn maza both are flavorful and should be tried.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes something different with in the Hispanic kitchen.“
“Gotta say this is probably the best taco truck I've been to in all my 31 years of living in Texas which says a lot. Everything was packed with flavor and great prices. They have the best papusas I've ever had and the beef fajita quesadillas were fantastic as well. I'll definitely be going back. 10/10 highly recommend.Parking: Plenty parking“
“I was craving fried plantains, and I went to this place. They were delicious, except that the cream was very liquid. I don't know if they put something in it. It wasn't pleasant. It takes away the flavor. The beans were delicious. I will return to try the pupusas. The service was excellent. the “
“Food is sooo good SMDH don't make no sense lol. My man is from El salvador so he introduced me to this lovely place! We usually get a plate to go. Tortillas are super thick and their meats are very tender and have good flavor. Of course can't go wrong with rice?. This is a ribs, bisteak plate! He got cardo de Pollo soup!Parking: It can get packed so parking can get hectic so be careful when pulling in and out!“
“I have lived 5 minutes from this place for 3years now. Boy have I been missing out. There pupusas are delicious! there was a language barrier for me but another customer translated when they were trying to tell me they can't make any shakes since they were out of milk but could refund me or give me something else. I will be back for sure!“
