“I had the hibachi shrimp lunch, it was very good. It was $16, which is only 25% more than I would pay at a fast food restaurant. Inflation has not hit this business. The interior is very well decorated. It was nice not to hear pop music being played over the sound system. The music was like piano jazz music from the 50s.“
“The food is really, really, really delicious..... Everything my wife and I have ordered has been hot and fresh.... My wife loves the ramen here, she's had both the Miso and Tonkatsu pork ramen and loves them both... Me on the other hand, love my special sushi rolls, and here my favorites are the Angry Dragon roll, Yummy roll, and Chameleon roll, the Angry Dragon has a really good kick to it... The spring rolls are delicious, the egg drop soup was good, the house salad was great, and the karaage chicken was hot and fresh.... Definitely found another great Japanese dish spot to eat at... This place is great, almost anything you try here will be great.“

“Good food, value for money for the lunch buffet. Not only you can order any kind of sushi you can order Hibachi too. We will definitely come back again. Only disappointing thing is the Agedashi tofu is nothing like the authentic one, so don't bother ordering that. It's just two pieces of fried tofu with very thick flour and sauce at the side.“

“This has been one of my favorite restaurants since they've opened and they didn't let me down today!!Visited the restaurant for lunch today and we did the hibachi experience! It seems like they've gotten even better than they were before!I ordered the Shrimp and Salmon, which was cooked to perfection! I wish I had gotten pictures of it but I demolished the food before I thought about it.I LOVE their yum-yum sauce, which I also prefer on both my salad and my meal; but you have to ask for it instead of the regular dressing that they use (which is similar but not as great to me).The service was exceptional today!! He was very attentive and quickly realized when we needed things (like refills and extra napkins, etc.).In my opinion, this is the BEST Hibachi restaurant in the Houston area!! For lunch, you get great portions and good pricing but lunch is only served from Mon-Fri from 11-3, I believe. Dinner prices are more but the portions are also even larger.Also, as an aside, for this who may have visited in the past when they used to have a wet mop water smell that is also gone now!!Parking: Parking can be competitive directly in front of the restaurant. I traditionally prefer to park in the back of the restaurant and walk over, which allows me to get more steps in too! ?“
“This is my first time visiting Yellowtail, but it won't be my last. I enjoyed the quaint space, kind patrons, and great service from the chef and waitstaff. I enjoyed my Gyoza, super shaggy roll, and crunchy chicken roll. I'm more of a cooked meats person and everything was perfection. I will be back! The prices were reasonable for the fresh, quality ingredients you get.“
