“We had an hour to kill while waiting on the packed Texas Roadhouse so we wandered over here. It's a gaming (gambling) room that allows smoking (very smoky) and I guess due to the laws around the machines they don't sell alcohol but they will give you some in exchange for however much paper you think it's worth. Bit of an oddity but it was interesting for a drink and nobody paid us very out of place people any mind!“

“This place has such a warm vibe. Great in the morning for espresso and lovely later in the day and into the evening for beer or a glass of wine. It's easily overlooked because it's in a multi-tenant building, but I love having Burnet Go-To in the neighborhood. “Review Update: BRING CASH (Dropped one star)We visited with our daughter for some apps and drinks on Sunday. On Monday I called in to ask why the extra charge of nearly $100? They advised that it was a 'temp hold' added when opening a tab and should 'fall off in 24 to 48 hours'. Today, was surprised to find the pending charge of $99.76 is STILL on my account 2 days later. I get that you want to mitigate for deadbeats vagabonds and scallywags, but this could be a serious game changer for folks on a tight budget. I strongly advise customers to BRING CASH to avoid Brass Tap holding onto such a large amount of money for more than 1 day. Also, recommend to first eat elsewhere; The Taps' once scrumptious and unique selection of hors d'oeuvres and goodies has become 18th century brig chow at best; much different qualtity than when they re-introduced their menu a couple years back: Korean Nachos, used to be our favorite. Salty thick sticky sauce, state fair cheap chips... simply overpriced and just 'meh'. (chicken wings were the star; at least edible to be fair).--Previous Review .. indeed still stands, overall--Such a fun place. I love to try beers that just can't be found elsewhere... And something special happened tonight, we met our new favorite server - Cesar.This location of Taco Flats has always been known for great food, great atmosphere and great service. “Definitely a great, local, spot to eat. It’s becoming harder and harder to find what feels like Texas used to be. Everyone was friendly and it would be a place I would just go and hangout at. The burger, onion rings, and breakfast taco were all spot on. Only complaint I’d have is the breakfast taco could have been bigger, but next time I just know to order a few because it’s one of the better tacos I’ve had in the area.“
“My partner and I decided to go to The Brass Tap for a WhistlePig Whiskey Dinner, and it was beyond our expectations! They served a spicy chicken and waffles, with whiskey infused whipped cream on top that was to die for! So delicious! The atmosphere was a lot of fun, but laid back. After we had finished dinner, there was a music "name that song" bingo that we also really enjoyed. We unfortunately didn't win, but the experience was so great that we are considering joining for a whiskey dinner once a month. The bartenders and servers are super friendly and will have you laughing. Definitely try this out!“
“Great BBQ for the price! Friendly staff and passionate about BBQ. First time dining at Slab BBQ. Ordered the B.C.B.C sandwich. The smoked chicken was flavorful and succulent, while the brisket was tender and flavorful. I enjoyed the strawberry habanero sauce flavor. Though I feel it was a little on the tame side ? they have an assortment of unique sodas on the fountain. Highly recommend ? the ribs looked really delicious, fork tender!“
“I bring my little dudes here pretty frequently… We love the pizza and the service is always great! And what mom doesn’t love a place to let the kids play while we sip on some delicious wine or beer? I know I do! We’ve also turned several of our friends into big Aviator fans as well!Everything on the menu sounds amazing & every single thing we’ve tried has been absolutely scrumptious! “The food was delicious ?!! Everything we ordered tasted great. We had crawfish & shrimp boil, gumbo, fried shrimp basket, 10pc wings garlic butter & Carolina gold sauce, cajun and sweet potato fries We were not able to eat in due to our late arrival; therefore, we ordered to go. We enjoyed it all. The customer service was great!! Didn't get a chance to get the manager's name, but his spirit and energy were so welcoming. You can tell he loves what it does! Thank you to the cooks as well! We will definitely visit again when we are in this area. Highly recommend!!“
“Best damn bar around. So awesome we got married here. Bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable. Good huge selection of beer. Fun comfortable stools at the bar. Tvs everywhere to watch sports or whatever. Just big enough but not so big you are wandering around. Cozy to be with friends. They always have something happening. Trivia, bands, sports, beer can fishing, crawfish boils, cooking contests. Plenty of parking. Very safe location and patrons are kind and its like family. Staff are so incredible. Everyone takes care of everyone. Highly recommend checking this place out. So much fun“
“I've been to The Growler Bar a few times now. Last night my wife and I went for the bar's 10th anniversary. While there were a lot of people there the bar made sure to set up extra seating. Also despite how busy it was all our food came out way faster than I expected. We had the Spinach Arugula Salad, Potato Skins, Pretzel, and Meatball Sliders. All of the food was excellent and the service was fantastic.There are a few other bar's that might be closer to is but this one is by far my favorite. They have a system that keeps up to date on which beers they have on tap and how much of the barrel is left which you can check out on their website. I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for good food and good beer ?“
