“Fish is really good”
“This beloved restaurant needs some love. I haven't been in a long time, and apparently most other people haven't either. Our food was delicious (skip the tortilla soup but enjoy the salads and the blackened salmon tacos). The crowd was sparse but the setting is still lovely. I hope this restaurant sticks around because it's a classic, but Dallas, you need to visit or it will wither away.”
“Amazing food we had chop salad and pizza. Great pizza some of the kids had pasta dishes and they loved them as well. Service was fantastic we came in with more people than our reservation and they some how fit us in. Our waitress Remily was an incredible server for the adult table and kid table. Ambiance was upscale Italian very cool people lived it”
“We visited for the first time today, the food and service were amazing thank you Kenny our waiter for everything. My favorites were the A5 wagyu to be expected, dry aged ribeye was superb as well. Nice variety of cocktails the wicked margarita was a perfect balance between sweet and spicy. They served palate cleansers between courses anndddd complimentary champagne upon entry. Bravo !!”
“I was staying at an Airbnb near the Giant Eyeball and was happy to find Berkeley's Market while on an evening stroll, like someone else said it was like a tiny Whole Foods Market! I am a health nut. They have higher quality waters (Hawaiian volcanic water anyone?), drinks, fresh coffees, fresh fruit & vegetables, quality goat cheese I like, grass fed Irish butter (Im a butter-holic), beers! The other thing that was great was that they have an ATM in the back, as a solo female traveller I was looking for a place that felt safe to get cash (not on the street or 7/11) so this was a winner for me! Thanks to the owner for putting together a higher quality selection of goods than what you can get around here, I did not have a car so needed to source everything on foot. I did walk to Tom Thumb and got a Lyft back once when I first got here because I didn't know about Berkley's, they even had small size less toxic laundry supplies, and tampons, yes! I'm a fan ? Ready to Eat stuff like salads too ? thanks again!”
“This was a hidden place in the back of an empty salon...and the man who made the bowls had absolutely no personality and seemed annoyed that we were even there. The actual bowl was quite delicious, but I'll find somewhere else.”
“The atmosphere at Scout is awesome! Its a great place to hang at the bar, go bowling, play pool, or an assortment of other games. We didnt get any food but we did order some drinks. The first bartender we had seemed very unfamiliar with the menu as we both had to repeat our drink order when she seemed confused. She then had to use a menu to know what to put in the drinks. The drinks turned out alright, nothing amazing but not bad. The staff was overall friendly but not the quickest. The biggest reason Thai isnt 5 stars is that there is an undisclosed automatic 20% gratuity on the check. There was only two of us so it wasnt for having a large group. I had already tipped cash so it wouldve been really nice to know they were going to force me to tip at the end also. The experience was definitely saved by Omar, he came up to us while playing pool and offered to set up bowling for us, asked if he could get us any more drinks or anything else. We came back the next morning (Sunday) for free bowling. We were the only customers there but the staff was very friendly and helpful. They didnt hover but they made sure we had anything we needed. Overall I recommend trying out Scout but dont expect super fast service and make sure you read your check to see if you want to add to the non-optional 20% gratuity on every ticket.”
“Killer cocktails. Must try lover boy and Fionas fuzzy peach! Juan and Andrew are super cool”
