A friend of a friend recommended Champion Gourmet, and I was extremely hesitant at first because I'd never heard of it before and I always hear about the best boba shops in town. I should've trusted my gut because the boba my friend and I ordered was probably the worst I've ever had in Plano. My friend ordered an oolong tea that I literally gagged on when I took a sip. It tasted nothing like oolong tea, and it had an almost burnt taste to it. My own jasmine green milk tea was incredibly watery, and the boba was hard and undercooked. I would never come again, and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I ordered their bigger than face chicken steak, no regrets!! It was really big and tasty as well as crispy, a definite must try! Their boba is pretty good too for the cheap price.

Smaller than a face, thinner than a paper chicken chop... that's enough!Look at a bunch of photos, say "bigger than face", cut~~~The point is: super thin!!! Only 1/4 of the thickness of Hakkazhuang Chicken Chop.The merchant replied that if it is relatively small, it will give a free chicken chop, and there is no!!!!!!!!!I got it and responded to the front desk: Why is it so small, the front desk said: It’s all like this‧Depend on! Who are you listening to? Don't they all speak openly and nicely? I can't do it when I do it.Horrible chicken fried steak, so thin that you can't even taste the meat....They say that they'll give you one for free if the chicken steak is smaller than your face, but they don't. When I got my chicken steak, nobody said anything!

The atmosphere of this store almost throws me back into the same feeling of Taiwan! From their varying menu of different drinks to the authentic Taiwan street foods, this location brings me the nostalgia and familiarity I crave for only a couple miles away!

We almost didn't go because the cafe's name. They only sell drinks and xiao chi (小吃), Chinese hor d'oeuvres. We opted for a grass jelly milk tea, it was really good. The setting is modern and relaxing. I found the restroom to be clean.

We walked in after eating next door. I was hoping they had the shaved ice desserts with fresh fruit but they don't. We settled for some Boba. My daughter got 3 Amigo milk tea that has grass jelly, pudding, and boba. I ordered the Ali Mountain with Grass Jelly. Pretty good. About what I'd expect from a Boba tea.
