“Can't say enough good things about our experience! I was expecting more of a "chain restaurant" feel yet was greeted with great service and food. The specialty scallop appetizer was delicious. Could have eaten it as the whole meal! The tuna tartar was average. We got ribeyes and lamb. All three were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Loved the Kona coffee rub paired with a ribeye- one of the best steaks I've had. The lobster mac and cheese was spot on, and the roasted mushrooms were fantastic! Sean, our server, was personal and fun to interact with. He knew the menu well and served with a smile.“
“Started withering the mobster bisque which was good followed by the tomahawk steak with a side of Brussels sprouts. It was ok good. Not spectacular. Little overcooked. Did not taste to me that it was a prime steak. I did expect better from a high dollar place. Server was very nice and helpful.“
“Had an extremely beautiful experience. The food was AMAZING! Perfect blend of flavors and the spice level was simply great. No excessive salt, spice or oil in the servings. The portion size is suitable to the prices. “We started ordering our dinner when the waitress started farting. She stopped writing our order down and just stared at the ceiling. I look over at my wife in amazement! 10 seconds into her fart I tried to continue my order. At this point, her fart was so loud I had to yell my order, for her to hear it. 30 seconds later, when she was finished farting, she pointed out the dangers of holding in farts.. a bad attitude, gingivitis and even ingrown toe nails! Thank you so much!! Also, the steak was amazing but the restaurant smells like boiled onions and garbage….5 stars. Good first date place.“
“We recently took our family to Andreas Steakhouse in Allen, and while the menu might be a bit more geared towards adults, it was a great experience overall. I had a fantastic ribeye, and my wife raved about the scallops. The lobster mac and cheese was a hit with our girls and our son enjoyed the chicken parmesan.The service was top-notch, exactly what you'd expect from a high-end steakhouse. Just a heads up that they do have a dress code, and there's valet parking for the front spots which we weren't quite expecting. Overall, it's a perfect place for a nice date night, but would probably work best for older kids or those with more adventurous palates. We'll definitely be back for a special occasion!“
“John was great. It looked like our section was short handed so we had some significant delays in our service. The FOH manager came by to give us my wife's espresso martini we had asked for it to have baileys but he advised multiple times that was a “different espresso martini”. We left disappointed overall.“
“Enjoyed another excellent meal courtesy of Gorji and team last evening. The atmosphere is great; dim with candles and interesting music from Latin to French and everything in between. The wine list is incredible and tweaked often by Gorji who writes his own personal notes on the menu to assist in selection. Loved ours so much we took a bottle home.We had the sea bass and filet, grapefruit and prosciutto salads and ice cream and kefir with coffee. However, we’ve tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed.The service is always impeccable and Gorji and team are most gracious hosts, greeting you upon arrival and seeing you off at the end of the meal. In a way you are their guest. The food is expertly, creatively, and I imagine lovingly prepared.Please be aware, it is not a place for children. Cell phone use is prohibited (love this). It is small with 5 tables. Parking is tight even though he has several reserved places. Plan ahead and/or take an Uber. The parking lot also has a golf cart shuttle. Don’t plan on ordering soft drinks or beer. It’s not that sort of place. Review the offerings in advance which are absolutely incredible and special in every way. I can’t imagine anyone would be disappointed, yet it may not be for everyone. This establishment is incredibly unique and very special. Truly a treasure of Dallas/Addison. If you have not visited Gorji you should put it on your to-do list. Then make your reservation and enjoy some of the best food our area has to offer (evidenced by his many awards). And, no tipping.“
“I was really intrigued with the idea of a student run restaurant. I had checked out the restaurant from the outside after a football game and I was surprised to see how fancy it was inside. I returned the following week during my day off to have a solo lunch here. I went here around 1 PM, and it was pretty empty. I was greeted by a student who also took my order. I can definitely sense the nervousness so it would be wise to be patient when interacting with them (this is a learning experience for them, after all). I was surprised to see how cheap the food was here, with most plates being around $6-$7! Because I wanted to try as much as I can, I ended up getting the shrimp taco plate and the short rib taco plate, resulting in 4 tacos and a bunch of homestyle chips with aioli sauce. I was really surprised to see how good the tacos were, as well as the chips! I ended up eating everything, hehe. I would love to try more of their items, especially their breakfast which include sandwiches, tacos, and smoothies. During my meal, students as well as their teachers/supervisors came to check up and see if I needed anything. While paying my bill, it was a bit awkward since there was a technical difficulty which was all good with me because I understand its a learning experience. Oh, I also got a cookie to go, which was pretty good. Overall, not only I was impressed with the food but I was happy to see such a cool student run restaurant/culinary program at Allen High School.“
“Went for my girlfriends birthday on a Saturday and it was great! Was able to get same day reservations and the restaurant itself was busy but not packed. My girlfriend and I were able to hear each other and our server clearly every time. Also the cake is to die for! Thank you to the host who also played an amazing role just with overall amazing service and great conversation. Definitely coming back here!“
